WOW that's really sad actually, I just noticed it from your message.
I'm thinking maybe I'll just post it directly to /r/manga from imgur uploads since I don't have a real website, however I'm not too sure.
Edit: Late edit but, Mangaka's twitter says the newest volume is supposedly coming out in March, so I guess I will play it by ear!

As much as the slime's remarks were non-intentional, I feel that their explanation is entirely plausible, if only because of the events that transpired the last time Maris' true parents were talked about.

Pretty sure it is just implying he is an idiot but he is somehow surprisingly emphatic to both the children and Death Mask.... then again it could also be implying that Death Mask is an idiot.

Untranslated pages:
First one is basically "We are... friends, right? Best friends, you two! No... BESUTO FURENZU" (written in katanaka to mimic English words).
Second is kids just playing and Maris goes "look here" and the other boy just nods.
Bottom diague:
Death Mask: "Maris, a bit harder please"
Lock: "Maris' back is so thin!"
And finally: "YOUR BACK IS WAY TOO WIDE"
The large speech bubble is "Isn't such a peaceful Hell nice? IT IS!"
While it's played for laughs, Death Mask's day job involves regularly dropping people into lava, or some other variation of cruel and unusual execution. Much of the humor of the comic in general comes from the incongruity of the three Demon Kings generic evil overlord work being interrupted by the mundane absurdity of raising a child.
The mangaka draws from their own life experiences, but Death Mask clearly isn't a fictional alter-ego, and that's a distinction you should keep in mind.
