I know I'm absolutely in the minority here, but I really liked Nagi. Even though Tsubaki is more or less announced as his match by this and the end of the original series, I would have liked to see what him and Nagi would have been like together. She's surprisingly adorable, and he's such an amazing guy. I would have liked to see it.

I have to agree.  I really loved Kaori, and also Emi, but Nagi is just too cute.  Like the other two (and also Kousei [but he's a guy, therefore not as adorable to my sexist judgement]) she practices until she's ready to star in Grave of the Fireflies (a la Nodame).  Concert grade soloists are not people who breeze through everything with a cocktail in hand, as some people think.  As the MC in 3-gatsu no Lion said about shougi pros, they train and do little else when they aren't competing (or performing).  Arthur Rubinstein practiced ten hours a day.  To the modern generation (and many others of us not so modern), that is incredible.  It is dedication of an order of magnitude greater than most people can practice.  So yes, Kaori is my favorite, but Emi and Nagi are right up there with her, and I only wish that they weren't fictional characters so that I could really support them.

H-huh strange.. the screen is blurred for some reason....

Oh come on.. I wanna see the future Arima.

Urgh. I was expecting a final chapter addressing the future and giving us more resolution for the pain the characters felt, but instead they just gave us more adorable Kaori and twisted the knife in the wound. Seeing how happy she was and the joyful way she lived her life put me on the edge of tears all over again.

This series hurts in all the right ways, but god does it hurt my heart.

I finished the manga but put off the last two episodes of the anime. I so want to listen to the songs but I doubt my poor heart can stand it.

Now it as ended ... and we get not the awaited Tsubaki & Kousei after history :(

SO ARE YOU DONE MAKING MY HEART BLEED NOW ARENT YOU?!

And that's all for the extras! Another finished project \o/

You can still find the first two chapters on our website. Don't know why they were deleted here :/

Thanks, Easy Going Scans, for chapter 3 of the coda.  I loved the original manga, and I really enjoy the chapters about the other characters, although Kaori is always going to be my favorite character, with Emi coming a close second.  Her crying over his first performance made me a real fan.  Maybe it's just how I feel about music, but it really hit me where it matters.

BTW, what the hell happened to the first two chapters?

waiting for those chapters. ><

thx 4 whoever doing that. xD

Are you sure WE are in the minority? Well, if so, I'm happy to be in the minority then!

the tears are coming again

I'm pretty sure all the fanbase it's waiting now for the kousei and tsubaki two years later chapter...

and a little bit for a watari chapter too

Does her school specialize in training stalkers or something? O_o I wonder if Emi's mentor is a teacher there.... She seems to be able to see through any stalking. >_>

Kind of a weak chapter compared to the ones about Kousei and Tsubaki. We already knew both that she had a lot of talents and that her performance wavered. I guess it's interesting that at her lows she was actually a disappointment, but it's just compared to her school idol role and I never really liked that trope. The fanboy antics were fun and maybe the silliness matches the childhood chapters that came before this, but honestly, those dudes creeped me the hell out.

I want to join KKK

Oh jeez, that works out way too well. There were even guys with pointed hoods in there.

The KouseixTsubaki is strong in this one.

O gato preto sempre esteve com ele... Oo
