I understand you don't like fanservice, girls dumb as brics or so deeply in love they feel retarded but girls being weaker in regular combat are perfectly fine. Hell I would say that having girl equally strong to a trained man is even dumber than all of the above.
wow, i... really like how this manga treats its female characters. like, a lot. sure, there's some fanservice, but it's miniscule, and the female characters are pretty varied in their emotions and looks. plus, their lives don't really revolve around any one man and, well... there's nobody whose goal is to get the man to fall in love with her, which is honestly rare for manga in general.
cause while it usually would've been, "she's strong for a girl," it was just, "she's strong," and female characters are actively engaging in battle rather than landing a few hits and then stepping back to allow the man to do his work... honestly, the topic of gender is rarely brought up at all when usually there's at least some kind of "women wouldn't understand a man's heart!" or "i can't go all out on a girl!" or "women don't belong on the battlefield!" or some joke in the form of "women... who can understand them??" like literally the only variant in that sort of phrasing is usually directed at the mc's age or upbringing rather than her gender.
it's pretty impressive, to say the least, but perhaps my standards have just been set way too low by the amount of sexist tropes enforced in this kind of media.
I think it's funny.
I'm of the mind that if someone wants to scanlate something, they should go for it. Regardless of 3rd party entities.
The only downside is potential hurt feelings.
To read or not to read...
Yeah. Psylocke Scans is such a great group and they always do things in the right order. I have no idea why jagman1x3 did this. Maybe a simple whim? You know, he just wants to see desperate faces
Meh, I may not have a say in this, regarding our release schedule of this project (>.> <.<) but as a reader rather than a scanlatior I would rather have seen they do the oldest non scanlated chapter instead of the last one.
so they continue this or upload this one and it over? LOT of chapter is missing...
I'm not blaming them, I like Psylocke's scans, I really do. It's just after waiting like 4 monthss for a new chapter and the 4 months inbetween the last batch of releases, just gets to ya, you know? I just feel if a group goes just vanishes and ignores a release without a word, only for a new group to step in, they lose all rights to complain. A lot of manga ruined because you get twats who want to fight another group over a release only to drop it themselves later...
The problem is you cant blame scanlators for the issues that occurred in this series for every group that attempted to do the series with genuine intentions, there was two other groups sabotaging the attempts to do the series, trust me I have seen it first hand as a raw provider and fellow scanlator, I have seen 2 groups personally attempt to resurrect this series but than they get attacked by outsider groups who do nothing nothing and publish nothing but than all of a sudden they want to release the same chapter you release and will do that to mess up your releases and than when you drop the release they dissapear as well. This is a cursed series it stirs up so much inter group politics I have seen two group pick it up and drop it because of outside groups appearing and sabotaging the releases with their own version, no group wants to do dual releases it a waste of resources
I really hate when scanlators do this, no offense to the groups. But when only half the manga, and sometimes less, is translated, they go and translate the last damn chapter before finishing up the manga. Just pisses me off.
D;
36 to 76....X_X So much missing.
Well...You could always buy it in your country and help translate it, yes?! Gosh..People are so ungrateful :/ Scanlation groups translate these books for FREE in their private FREE TIME. And it's a lot of work to have it look so professional like Silent Sky does. So I'd suppose you help them out instead of lamenting about how "slow" they are.
; A ; In my country vol.11 is already released last year. Why still vol.8 here?
Edited.
NO! çAç

Oh wow that was 32 pages already.- . felt like it was shorter than that.
There, ch 35 and a v2 on 34. u.u
Don't worry we realized our mistake with the beginning pages right after we released u.u I am working on re-doing the pages that seem blurry right now so wait a bit ^^
Thanks for the feedback \(o^.^o)_
And the guy who commented before me is right, we will be using private raws from v9 onwards, so hopefully thats something for you guys to look forward to
thanks for reading Sengoku Strays, Silent Sky will using the private raws for next volumes, that's mean the better quality.
the quality of this latest chapter (ch 34) is quite poor compared to previous chapters. O.o
