Description: | Maeda is a new student in the Teiken High School. He stutters when he's nervous and he's rather clumsy. He gets noted immediately because he hits a teacher during the entrance ceremony. Some clubs search to enlist him as they see in him a force they can use to get even with other clubs. But Maeda is a loner and has only one dream: becoming boxing champion. His first objective is to beat the leader of the boxing club. "Rokudenashi" translates as "good for nothing". Masanori Morita's (Rookies) first serialization, and a true Jump classic. More focused on gang warfare than boxing. |

Thanks for bringing this classic back to life!
Is your crew is looking for a place to hold an intense delinquent rumble? The search is over! Throw down on your rivals at the famed Golden Turd of Asakusa...it's only a haymaker away!

Thanks for picking this up!
All these 'join me' chapters are pure gold for scanlation groups looking for new people.
oh fuck, this actually got picked up by a semi-major scanlator? I never expected FA start working on it, figured it'd be Hokuto no Gun if anything. Hope you guys can keep releasing this, I friggin' love this series. So manly. So good.
that save by maeda.. very nice!!
>>Chapter 158
About damn time that they had a serious talk !
TY for the update!
Cheesus, you've picked this up! Nice! Thanks for update!
Another good chapter, thanks for update!
She bought the flowers for someone else and because she failed, she gave it in her dead boyfriend instead? lol
Well, I'm not big expert of Onizuka, but this theme of school wars and etc was pretty popular at that time (I think), and if shonen was shaped by DB, Onizuka perhaps was shaped by similar predecessors.
I see, I should have checked that before, So Onizuka's was purely part of a wider mid nineties cultural context. So Fujisawa the hack that he is, was likely inspired by series such as this, or a similar shared popular culture?
150 chapters! Great anniversary! Thanks for translation!
Onizuka just started to be published when this manga ended xD
Hooray! Final of great fight! Thank you guys for speeding things up! Really appreciate it!
As someone who's read Holyland (and if you like these fights you should read it too), all I can say is breaking his arms and legs will JUST MAKE HIM MADDER.
