And then Ash lost every single Pokemon league THE END

Remake is terrible to me. It encompasses everything I hated about the Pokemon cartoon since I was a kid, while removing everything I liked.

I only come here for the author's extras. That's some good manga.

Damn, it's like the new Powerpuff Girls or Teen Titans Go. Can't leave well enough alone.

Eh, more like a reboot, ala the transition to Marvel Comic stories to Marvel Movie stories.  It's not like this adds pointless and terrible jokes while mocking its fanbase for expecting more from it.

Thanks again for the new chapter!

Thanks for the new chapter!

Oh hey, an adaptation of the first saga of the Pokemon anime! I can't wait to see all of my fav-

>Second chapter introduces Team Rocket as a bunch of bumbling chucklefucks instead of the temporarily menacing characters they were in the second episode

>An Entei in Kanto

>Ash catching Caterpie like it's no big deal

>Brock and Misty replaced by generic Piplup girl and generic Lucario boy

I'd never choose Pikachu as a starter pokemon.

It's kinda sad that nowadays, we are still stuck with the same lame grass/water/fire constellation[although the 2ndary type great varies and recently even ghost became a starter subtype].

The only thing that improved is the fact that we can catch "rarer" types earlier in the games, e.g. ghost and dragon.

But that begs the question:

Why not start with a bug, ice, ground, rock or poison type? Back in the 90s I always envied Team Rocket for starting with Ekans/Koffing,as they seemed pretty different for starters.

I think Gamefreak should develope a hard mode for their games with a different starter concept and higher difficulty in catching&maintaining pokemon instead of making everything easier every single generation...

"pocket monsters" how much of a hipster do you have to be to call Pokemon Pocket monsters?

Read the old version with Japanese naming and the new version with English naming of Satoshi/Ash and Pikachu's first meeting in a day. What a day.

And if I remember correctly, the dub of the anime in my country mixed the two. Making both version slightly weird to me.

Thanks a lot!
