Just picked this up and dayum lots of these characters are likable af. Used to read Sora no otoshimono, why didn't i find this gem sooner.
Hina really changed compared to first chapters.
Or that was the original timeline all along. Time travels weird. For all we know, this could be the same course of action that happened. New students suddenly appeared, and were accepted into their regiments, the attack happened, and they start up the generator.
It could all be according to how it happened before.

Actually he is in a way ... but I admit it's more because he is known for his Mood Whiplashes from Comedy to TERRIBLE TRAGEDY in one Panel.

I see, the original timeline - generator not functioning, or get destroyed, Rhito goes out of control. The timeline change happened when these people went to the generator. I hope that's it.

I personally think Rhito's counter is how many times he i allowed to cry/show emotion.
Think about it, in the past he always smiles and they all say that his smiles relieves the pain of everyone in battle. It also could be the reason why he always wear a mask. So that he could hide his tears/emotion.
