Spoiler

I forgot I was even following this manga here since it almost never gets updated(even though i found this here a while back when it only had 1-3 chapters). but iv kept up to date with every chapter thus far. all of them (even 55-58) are translated here, and its kept up to date monthly.

Mi-chan~

Don't know if this was widely known, but this series has actually been getting fan translations.
Yes, there are Viz's official translations, but I've noticed that MangaUpdates has been listing that a group has been translating the series.

There are some problems:
1. The raws are pretty bad as most chapters have the Umaru watermark. (Except Ch.52 and 59)
2. Chapter 55 and 58 aren't translated.
3. Translations aren't proofread, as well as many chapters aren't cleaned.

Despite these things, it's clear that they put a lot of hard work and effort into translating these chapters, and I really admire how they kept going even after officials came out.
If I'll be completely honest, Viz's official translation is easier on the eyes and if you want a better translation in general, professional is obviously better.
But, if you don't want to buy the chapters or don't want to read them illegally ripped on other aggregate sites, they have your back. (Except chapters 55 and 58... Yea... do whatever for that.)

So I'm uploading their translations onto here since it shouldn't be against the rules to do so.
My main objective is really trying to notify whoever's following the series that it's still ongoing and being translated, but I also wanted to show off the work that the group did for the series.
I had to download each image individually so I tried to do an efficient method at sorting, so hopefully the chapters are sorted properly. If not, it'd be great if you could tell me.

Thanks for reading this, and I hope that you're enjoying the series as much as I am.

Wait what? For real?

How can there be two?!

And when I thought Ferid couldn't be creepier, he proves me wrong. And he isn't even in the chapter! That "gift" in the basement is going to be problematic.

Still, I wish the pace was faster. While they philosophize about vampire and human morality, two vampires are roasting alive in the sun. Not that I mind in Ferid's case, but I hope they save Krul soon.

Isn't this like 10 chapters ahead?

Finally, our protagonists get the vampire power levels explained. Their " oh crap" faces in the last page are priceless XD Thanks for the Spanish translation!

I don't understand what Asura is thinking. Or feeling, even.

I'm quite sure Krul knows he's there. What are her intentions as well?

Perhaps Krul is hoping for a way to recover her brother? And the Seraph of the End is the key to that? It would explain why she was so interested in protecting the test-subject orphans.

Ferid is as hilariously evil as ever. And, hey, the plot is moving! Ferid and Krul are facing judgement, only our poor runaways and a bored vampire can save them, and the Hiragi coup is about to happen. Seriously, what can't go wrong at this time?

In the meantime, Yoichi has become a more interesting character now that we know how deep his dark side reaches. He even got a "nice" idea for punishing his sister's killer.

These are the kind of mangas I wish there were more of.

Just wish there was more gore though.

Muchísimas gracias a Ryuusei no Mafia y a Usagi no Fansub.

Cover 12!!

fml. Wrong comment section. I fail at life.

(I really shouldn't have multiple batoto tabs open at the same time...)

Am I missing something?

There was no interesting buildup, and the reveal is boring-as-hell exposition. Feels like the manga is tanking and the author had to use "the reveal" to drum up interest. As far as I'm concerned it failed and fell flat.

It's just too convoluted now, the manga doesn't tell a compelling enough story to deal with this kind of narrative.

Kruuull-Chaaan!!

I think it is because it is one of those infamous twists that people are conditioned against due to a certain bunch of pathetic directors around the world.

As much as I love Owari no Seraph, I feel the anime was wise in ending where it did. These revelations about past events don't seem that smoothly integrated into the narrative. Guess it is a tone problem: It's like the manga itself is having mood swings like the characters.

Poor Shinya

Welp, as meaningless a gesture as it is, I'm dropping this after 4 years of patronage.

I've stuck with Seraph since the first chapter's release because I liked the premise, and loved the Imperial Army aesthetic from the cover, which has mostly gone unused for whatever reason. I'm doing this or one reason alone, and that's the line "This man walks the path of the wise king, and ruthless conqueror" being applied to a character who's had basically no screen time, who we haven't even really met, and who thus far has shown zero leadership qualities, or any charisma in general. I can't even recall the guy's name, so there's just no way I can look at him as the imposing, threatening figure who leads mankind he's apparently supposed to be.

Regardless, I hope everyone who sticks with Seraph gets more entertainment and satisfaction form it than I have.

I feel ya. I, too, have been contemplating whether to drop this or not, despite loving the weapon design and art a lot. I came for the premise, stayed for the art and the seraph thingy which intrigued me, but there were things that pissed me off...most of all the idiocy of the main character who turned out to be nothing but a stupid generic shounen protagonist going on and on about friendship. I kept bearing with it for a long time, until it eventually became too much with this borderline gay bromance thing he has going on with Mika. Now I just keep coming back every once in a while when I am bored to check if anything of interest had happened in the meantime, but nothing cool ever happens. This chapter as a whole was just so utterly boring. I seldom see an update with so many pages being so utterly contentless in the end. I cannot blame anyone for wanting to drop this manga at this point. Heck, I probably should have done so long ago...

Welp that was a waste of 40 pages.
