Description: Leticia's father, the current king, is very wise and knew that both of his sons have their own supporters and that if either one became king the other brother’s supporters would rebel, and the country would have a civil war. So he decided to announce that he will retire while he’s still alive and make his daughter, the princess, his successor! However, the princess never expected to be Queen and she really doesn’t have any political allies. So she decides to gather a group of knights loyal to her and form her own “round table” before the day of her coronation. The problem is, all of the good knights who are strong and skillful and loyal have already been snatched up by her father and brothers for their own personal guards.

i'm curious is the author alright now. I hope she hasn't passed away.

The author is fighting for her life... so...

Some of the best stories are forced into hiatus due to mangakas having health problems. This is why we're still waiting for more Iris Zero... :( The industry needs to do something to prevent these seemingly common health issues.

Hey mizuouji, do you know what exactly the artist is sick with? I tried looking around but I couldn't find anything affirmative.

It got axed AGAIN??

Okobore Hime to Entaku no Kishi is in hiatus. The artist is very very sick... we hope she recovers soon.

I wonder about that... she doesn't seem like the type to throw away everything for love. She puts the kingdom first, and it seems pretty clear that in the world/time this is set in, that also means having a politically advantageous match, regardless of your actual feelings for that person. Potential feelings seem to be hinted at (especially with a certain knight), but so far it doesn't look like any ship is particularly seaworthy, at least as far as getting married and having a happily ever after goes. Even if strong mutual romantic feelings are confirmed, it could still end up being more of a Roman Holiday kind of deal.

The ruler of sommevesle has the right to have 3 spouses. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Btw, the culprit from 2nd chapter still not found yet...?

Well she IS the "Heartbreaker Queen"

well i better be seein some breakin hearts then :D

If anything I suspect it's historians and tale-tellers who have tended to love the warmaking kings.  The upper classes generally tended to be all in favour of war, since they reaped the benefits (and still do), and historians would generally be upper class.  Meanwhile bards and poets and other narrators love a warmaking king because conflict makes better stories.  The more ordinary people were probably rather more ambiguous, but their memories were shorter.  For a couple of generations they might remember good king so-and-so who didn't draft masses of them to die, who improved the land and made the roads safe from bandits and didn't tax them too hard, but that would fade and hundreds of years later what would be remembered is the cool stories and the elite histories.

This is true for American presidents as well (and presumably other modern government leaders). A look at rankings of presidents by historians finds that they consistently rank war-time presidents much higher than peace-time presidents. The more Americans died in war during a president's term, the higher historians tend to rate that president.

Ironically Kings that avoided waging war were denounced as cowards and weak. The people only remembered Lords as great if they were great in warfare.

Huh, I wonder if she can keep her promise. Although maybe one of her nickname that the other king didn't manage to say to her was her title of appreciation because she managed to make the kingdom had no war during her reign.

I know what everyone's thinking; there were no missing pages (i checked!)  those 14 pages... are the only pages this issue had. orz

Spoiler

This.  Basically, a harem is always the MC's harem.  I don't really even see the need for the term "reverse harem", plus to me it has this weird vibe, like "OMG girls can have what guys can have??!!!  NNNOOoooo!!1!1"  And after all, even a "reverse harem" tag leaves out possibilities, like "Iono the Fanatics".

just as Purple Library Guy said.

And can't you guys see "ALL" the tag to guess the genre ?

Shoujo + Harem = 1 main female protag with her harem of guys

Shounen + Harem = 1 main male protag with his harem of girls

Yuri + Harem = most likely to be 1 main female protag with her harem of girls

Yaoi + Harem  sorry my bad, forget what I said. Because many people may feel bad.

Does this manga update monthly? *u* I'm really enjoying this manga. Just can't get enough of Leti, Astrid, and Duke.

my yandere senses are tingling... why is it always the shotas XD

*cough* *cough*
Spoiler
"Don't use your sword for killing!" Pls Queen, any respectable leader/country has their own clean up folks. People that make irritating problems go away.

my yandere senses are tingling... why is it always the shotas XD

I wasn't expecting anything before reading this but after that reading up to the latest chapter it's actually quite a good one
