Thanks rpapo!  And Merry Christmas to all, and so forth!

Thanks for the chapter. Happy holidays, member "rpapo".

this is the wrong time of the year for chapter 26 to come out...

Didn't realize it until it was out the door.  It was simply where it fell in my round-robin release schedule.  That is, what happens when I release every chapter the moment it is ready, but I rotate through a number of different series.  Last week Bara no Tame ni #58, this week Neko Ane #26, next up: Kanade #15...

No fair I am in tears here!! What a wonderful chapter...

Damn it... this is the wrong time of the year for chapter 26 to come out...

Formally dressed Cicada-nosuke tips his hat to you with a smile that will warm your heart.

I'M NOT CRYING YOU ARE.

Aghh This is such an adorable punch to the face of feels! I hope this gets fully translated or I might die.

Twenty-five chapters are done.  Ten remain to be done.  No raw material is missing.

I love this series so much, but it hurts just as much at the same time. All I want are mini-Gin-chan kitten nekomatas

Reminds me of the Nikki ending from Mana Khemia (my personal favorite).

Was somebody wondering where the worry went?  It's been lurking there, waiting it's chance to pounce on you...

Things have been a bit busy around here.  For those of you who were beginning to show withdrawal symptoms, here's your next dose of cat.

Remember this:

Spoiler

Actually really hoping for that ship to sail. I have no idea if Anzu will actually disappear or not but he's going to need someone there if/when she does.

I ship it.

She better confess next volume.

What a GOOD MOM.

Volume 4 complete. The series is now 2/3 over, and the plot moves into a higher gear.

Wow, the end of the most recent chapter was really sweet. It showed a mature side of Anzu that we don't often get to see. :D

Mmm, nice.  This chapter had an almost "Yotsuba!" ish feel to it.  Except with that gentle nostalgia thing going.

Thanks rpapo.

And Megumi is the star of the show this time.

Pff!  Gotta watch out for those early-rising delinquents.

When I wrote that, I was actually thinking Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd and "splitting hares", but resisted the temptation.  And most of the readers here are probably too young to have gotten the reference.

I'm too young to have seen the original, but during a slightly-less ancient epoch (known as the "Nineties"), such things as "Saturday morning reruns" existed; this plus my grandparents' extensive collection of 1940's and 50's-era Merrie Melodies has gotten me far too versed on such things*.  Although if I recall correctly, "Hare Splitting" was one of the weird ones that had Bugs vs. a one-off rabbit character over the affections of Daisy, rather than Mr. Fudd being involved.

*How else is a kid going to know Wagnerian opera?

Spoiler

That said, I would like to make it a matter of public record that Anzu's bucket hat is terribly adorable.

A chapter with a little lighter tone, this time.

And a " Thank you for the release " with a lighter tone, this time.
