I've seen raws and it's pretty fucked up.
This isn't a novel. It's a manhwa. It was only 20 something sentences with pretty art. Not a damn essay. Chuuni? That's generally what this genre is.
The translation is making it super hard to understand. The art is great, the story seem itneresting, but this english...
The Spinoff of this Manhua's title "Trajectory of Acacia" and transliterated latin os "Acacia" Record is "acaxia"
Once upon a time isnt supposed to last 10 pages...nor is it supposed to sound like a chuuni (unless its meant for comedic effect).
I appreciate skillfully delivered exposition as much as the next guy, but bad exposition would be something like the characters explaining something they should already know and therefore shouldn't be saying aloud. Those 10 pages were delivered by the narrator and it's the beginning of the story. It's like "Once upon a time..." It's perfectly acceptable.
Dropped. This violates one of the most basic rules of exposition and world building. If an editor couldn't stop the author from doing this, the rest of the series must be a trainwreck too.
