'cause it's a McManga. Good drawings, super easy to understand / read, and it had a strong enough start that by the time you realized it was crap, it was too late.
The stupidity of the MC tends to get annoying.
I wonder why I can't stop reading Mujang. Hands down, it's probably has the worst story and MC of all webtoons I've read
It's back!
:>
Thanks for the chapter! Really enjoying reading this.
Just finished catching up in one go. This was pretty damn fun start to finish; but this has got to be one of, if not the, worst time skip I read. It served no purpose (inter-plot; not historically, of course), it was overly long (13 whole years!), the characters look EXACTLY THE SAME (while a mere 2 year time skip from one piece...do i need to even?), the main char already got a happy ending without even showing it in-manga (as happy as you would get in that kind of world), and it comes with the horrible possibility of killing off the main char to continue with his son (hated this kind of thing since Goku and I still do).
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bash anything else about this manga; it was a great read and I am probably gonna keep reading it as long as they don't change anything for the worse.
his tears made me tear up :')
holy shiiiiit mutha f*kaaaaa! he's here!
Holy shit. I did not expect that son of his. I guess Ki wasn't the only thing he was hardening.
I haven't read this, BUT IT'S A GODDAMNED GIF!?
Fixed it for you.
I really hate time lapses and (SPOILER ahead)

the fact that more than 10 years have passed seriously? bah. And the "big" revelation in chapter 184 about the fact that one eyed guy sworn enemy of Kwon is now with the mongols was sooo abvious -____- was that supposed to be a surprise? NOPE.
Only thing i really don't like is that the daughter of the merchant old man (the one that betrayed kwon and helped with the coup) didn't have any point in existing. She seemed to be in love with Kwon but she barely appeared, even when she got the arc about her kidnapping she only appeared like 1 or 2 times but nothing more because it seems the kidnapping was a farce or something (yeah, sorry for speedreading, but the point still stands). Her character didn't go anywhere nor did she do anything other than appearing concerned in a couple of panels.
Erm, RotL and every manga/webtoon followed a certain routine or formula.
How many times was the MC a damsel in distress or was the heroine a damsel in distress? I am really mad that when they finally made progress, they still become a princess needed to be rescued and it happened sooooo many times. Or when the MC becomes awesome and few chapters later he is a helpless chick.
I do not think RotL is any better from the point you suggested. I find this manga quite good and it has more character development than RotL.
By that I mean, psychologically and mentally. The MC was driven by pure revenge but in the end he chose to be a hero standing up for the weak and the slaves.
after reading chapter 180:
Seriously though, awesome series, I can't wait for the next chapter, whenever that might come out...
edit: awesome gif for the webtoon, btw
Yeah, the season ended at 180 and so the series is currently on a 2-month hiatus.
I couldn't help it. Gos.moe has chapters up to 180.
And it looks like it'll be going on a short break?
Why do some chapters have the end blacked out?
Ch 169, 1st panel: do you guys read that as "quack"
RotL is better. This doesn't really have a plot, and the fights all seem to follow the same formula:
Can I get a comparison of this to Ruler of the Land? Read 2 chapters of this and wasn't motivation to continue. RotL's beginning chapters weren't all that enjoyable either, I just happened to read a much later chapter on a whim(this was before Imperfect took over), and it eventually got enough to start from the beginning. Wondering if this series would work the same for me.
oh damn they sent the female general here.she foine though
Edit: ay the chapter got taken down
Edit: it's back up again :|
I'm just waiting for Kwon to say "I came here to fuck bitches, so I will fuck you".
