I think Darling's harem needed to come to a close and we needed to start going into other MCs. Ultimately most of the stories should result in harem ends, with multiple monster girls. But at some point there has to be a cutoff for each MC. Maybe a couple of MCs can just have 1 monster girl and be more of a traditional romance. But either way we need different MCs.
I have no problem with Darling being the best MC out of them all, the others can be more flawed or whatever, I don't care. But there needs to be different ones.

My 2 cents would be they painted themselves in a corner. On one hand, people want to see new species on a regular basis. On the other, they want more development with the girls he lives with. They've, unfortunately, chosen to waste a lot of time with fan service and "developing" characters most people barely remember and/or don't even care about. I've read cow girl hentai with better dialogue and plot execution in 5~10 pages while this last chapter wasted about 32 on tits. If they don't readjust their priorities it will get axed like a manhwa and not have an ending.
I have always been a fan of this series since its debut further increased my fetish in MG's, loved the anime and of course MG genre has skyrocketed because of it.
My question is is it me or do some people just dont feel that magic when theres an update. I feel like the series has lost its touch a little. Before each MG would have at least 3 chapters in the spotlight and their interactions with the MC. You would always see development on how they want to conquer the MC but also deepen their bond with other MG's. Now you just dont see any of that. Maybe im being negative...or arent I?
