See you next year.

Three chapters, three times Arata gets into interesting situations...and the third one is too much for the poor guy.

Horde of tanned maid wife loli army? 16097034.jpg

3 chepters at once, what a treat!

Thank you LoLscans, and happy birthday.

Loli wives or Elf lover but it seems like Omar is also a contender

Arata's facial muscles had a good workout on chapter 21.

Shock, fear, and resignation soon followed by greater shock, explosion, out of body experience, recovery, depression, and finally acceptance... good workout.

Apparently all the interesting parts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria happened off screen. What Japanese company could possibly be doing business in the Middle East that requires body guards? Telecommunications contractors? Not exactly something that can be done discreetly, so how would hiring a PMC be ok? People are terrified of hiring Black Water which is made up of retired Navy Seals; how is a 1st world company going to hire Arata's child soldiers? And the Japanese government is going to entertain a PMC that employs child soldiers walking around freely in broad daylight. It's Japan, people gawk at every non-Asian they see. That isn't asking for a public scandal that will ruin the political careers of everyone in office. Best case scenario, they kindly tell him to get the hell out of the country immediately. Fucking hack author.

Also 3 credit pages and 2 recruitment pages?

If you have the money, everything goes. "Law and order" is just something to keep the working class in line and making the working class feel save.

Bribe the right people and you are fine.

yeah, with enough power the laws don't apply. Actually, with even more power, you make the laws.

3 chapters! What a nice early trick-or-treat

*gobbles chapters fast*

So good! Now I crave for more!

*drools*

ROFL do you seriously think its that easy to get fake passports? Especially ones that can get you into Japan?

School trip? OK, sure, so once the visa for their school trip expires, what then?

Do you honestly have no idea how insanely hard it is to get a long term or permanent visa to stay in first world countries? The US is a great example of this, there are plenty of infographs out there that basically tell you that you cant get a green card unless you are insanely lucky, wealthy or something like a doctor.

By the end of the day, the one issuing the visa as well as the security guard is but a salaryman working under someone to earn their living. If the higher-ups give them a nod, there's no way those officers would go against their wishes.

Sure, you can try to get into media, but then it'll be a battle of the potential of profiting from that news against the amount they'd receive for hushing. Plus you're potentially risking yourself off your job, or your life depending on the severity of the issue/scandal.

You wrote with the assumption that everything will go according to law and order. It means that: either you're ignorant of how the world works or you're simply not matured enough to gain first/second-hand experience.

> wealthy

There, you wrote it yourself.

Arata save pmc leader who surely know a lot of people in government American and japanese. so getting things from them can be easily if you know the right people and pay the price. with it you know a lot of people can do a lot of things if you add a zero at there salary .
Ps : My first language is not english

Authorities in the middle east, caring about some mercenaries without passports? Nigga, I can assure you that money can take care of that.

The timeskip is of 1 year in which they work as mercenaries and then go to japan (they where looking for money I think)

Like I said before, fake papers are relative easy to obtain, especially in third world countries and the likes.

About bringing kid soldiers to Japan (by airport no less), you can simply say that their in a school trip.

That was all very stupid and melodramatic. Considering his orders were more or less, "throw shit at the guy with the knife.", what was the point of assigning squads? Arata's plans and motivations also make no sense. He wants to establish his own PMC based in Japan with just his little squad and whatever contacts he and Boss have? With such a crazy endeavor you would think he'd be extremely cautious and inconspicuous but he grabs as much attention as possible saving a woman from an attacker at an airport using children! How did he receive his pay without reconnecting with the PMC they were all employed by? The PMC was fine with him taking all the kids to a first world country? I can forgive glossing over getting through security without visas or identification, but a dozen child soldiers isn't going to set off some alarms? He's more or less a child trafficker. Normally you need to set up an NGO to do that and there's no way he could manage that on his own. Back to the pay thing, it's not like Arata could legally open a dozen bank accounts in European countries where he has no employment or resident status, so would he really be able to access them without the PMCs clearance or knowledge?

NOPE, it's clean break with no strings attached. All that was just a prelude to Salaryman and child soldiers, Shenanigans in the Land of the Rising Sun. He managed to acquire all the resources, contacts, and knowledge needed to establish his own PMC from his salary as a mercenary, his old IT job, and his love of RTS.

Don't really see how you can compare the 2 aside from military operations aspect and GATE only gets that on and off. Gate seems to focus on that whole other world hype train that was going on with some politic BS mixed in rather than the whole combat operations where this manga focuses on. However I think this so far feels kind of rushed and vague in some areas and found some things rather off.

And this chapter ends volume 1's LN. I only got up to this point so I'm excited for the next chapters.

3 manga volumes for 1 of the LN, I'm liking this mangaka.

So when are they establishing outer haven

I don't get it, why was the elf girl evil? Also she didn't die did she?

Arata got her out of the base before, and she wasn't necessarily at the battlefield the second time. Since she's an operator, she was probably back at the nearest base relaying orders, and got them to broadcast her demand to release Arata.

The children think she's a demon because of her unnaturally long ears.

That's one reason, but Djibril also doesn't want that elf getting close to her man.

Chapter 16 and 17 raise so many unanswered questions. It looked like the whole camp got killed or captured, but for some reason only omar and the MC got captured, and Sofia seems to have escaped somehow, even though she was last seen surrounded.

That timeskip doesnt even make any sense. Omar and the MC would have been stopped at the airport if they tried to leave the country, since the authorities know they were hostages. I doubt they even had their passports with them when they got captured. There's a ton of other unresolved issues, like their contract with the PMC, how they managed to bring a bunch of foreign children fighters to Japan (pro tip : immigration will laugh at you if you try), etc.

I hope the next couple of chapters wrap up all these loose ends.

Man, this would make for an awesome Black Lagoon crossover.

Now where is the Big Boss when we need him with all the proxy war goin' on.

He is busy sending everything that isn't bolted down in the area into space while hiding in his box screaming Otacon.

man, this series is so good.
