This manga need moar Mob characters... this is not even 1/4 of d-frag's level.
I still keep hoping that maou won't be bullied next chapter only to be disappointed. why can't I stop hoping.

They have a nice feel/pace to them and the formula has a lot of room for variation and expansion in it.I.e. What bit do the side/mob characters have this time? Are recurring ones coming back? Which gags takes priority, what sequence does the comedic action take in any given scene?
Small shifts in tone and rhythm keep it fresh for me even when nothing of real impact seems to be taking place.

I can understand the D-Frag comparison. Both have very odd introductory chapters where nothing really happens. The slapstick feels the same too. I dropped this on chapter 11 and I can't gather the interest to read another chapter of D-Frag.
