This is basically the exact same thing as http://vatoto.com/comic/_/comics/necromancer-r953...it all begins with a ton of short stories that all fall together into one main story...and then in the end it has that phrase you hear every single time in the short stories...the only difference is the plot of the MAIN story.

The thing is, it wasn't just her customers that suffered. A decent number of those items affected people who never dealt with her and didn't display any actions worthy of punishment. Chapter 21 was the most recent example(scaring someone to the point of insanity then turning them into a blob), but there were plenty of others. Again, I like this series, but Roma is a despicable villain who by all rights deserves to be put down.

That's pretty harsh but Well, you are entitled to your opinion. In my eyes she just let her Klesha get the best of her and now wishes to do it differently. Of course I understand what you say. I always wished for some extra chapter informing that the uninvolved bystanders got compensation for whatever happened to them. Sadly didn't get it The issue with this is that it dealt mostly with adolescents. Imo adolescents shouldn't be punished so severely for having their natural klesha. I mean come on, they are young. True enough that klesha is stronger at that period but still... not cool. But I take Roma's decisions in a Buddhist or general religious perspective and in that context she felt guilt and gave up a chance of achieving her goal. That itself is a redeeming quality. Same would apply to a murderer under the right conditions. They are sent for therapy in order to trigger that realisation of guilt so as to avoid doing it again. Still, the ending was vague so this is just going on my hope. For all we know she might ensure bystanders don't get into danger anymore and if they do, she might help them or she may not.Who knows. That's up to the reader.

The way I see it,

she was justified. It was shown that she(unlike her pet) had moments where she was satisfied when some people overcame their klesha. Only in the last bit did she let her klesha get the better of her and actually killed an innocent. The ending was symbolic of her inner morality. One should not become a monster for the sake of their goals. She ruined the lives of quite a few, but she mainly just brought out the ugly nature that is already inside them. A good life lesson overall.

only 24 chapters?  baka-updates says it ran in a weekly magazine but its got too many pages per chapter for that.  i wonder if it got canceled or what.

Really enjoyed this manga.

It's hard to feel sympathetic for Roma, though. There were a lot of innocent victims of her quest, and it looks like if she keeps going as is, there will be a lot more.

I would have really liked for this to twist the plot and last a bit longer, but happy ending is fine too ^-^

It's just that there wasn't any really 'dark' chapter that keep that 'dark' feeling in the end.

Ch 20 was kinda getting there, but the ending just felt...'meh'

This one feel like going back to its root (ch 2) of karmic moment.

No, using magic tools to ezmode your way to what you desire will get your...enthusiasm...suck dried.

Kinda like the difference when you cheat to beat a game vs clear the game without cheat, but just isn't as satisfying.
