Description: | In this world, the concept of levels exist. Other than those who live off defeating monsters, most people are only around Level 1 to 5. What's more, not just anyone can go out to hunt monsters; it's heavily influenced by one's role appointed by God. There are eight such eligible roles. Warriors. Fighters. Clerics. Magicians. Rogues. Merchants. Hunters. Sorcerers. Those blessed with extraordinary power are divided into three types. Royalty. Heroes. Sages. But for the majority of the population, they have no such powers and live by farming or running shops. Towns are developed by those with the weakest role... Villagers. For the powerless Villagers going out to hunt monsters is equivalent to committing suicide. But one day, a certain two-year-old child given the role of Villager notices something. Once you defeat a monster... you can earn great wealth. Description From Web Novel |

I wish some groups would pick back up Black Healer instead of constantly just starting new series.
Coz screw the full bodied princess while you can get the loli demon
Then by that token, there should be plenty of Dark Souls and Bloodborne MC's with jacked up stats. So many go practically naked as a matter of pride.
Actually, a nudist hero sounds kind of funny...
Because everyone that tries to do this ends up dead. To gain exp they would need to survive with 1% hp left. Even the MC only found this out because he was in a suicide phase.
You mean like this one? https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=135717
XD
Game rules applied to real world is so fucking retarded and overused concept
Reminds me of the time when I leveled my Maplestory character as a begginer and never changed it class just for lols.
You forgot the final part of the equation:
Loli is love, loli is life
The biggest mistake of this "generic" game world story is that the MC is not a
greenloli. Make it into a level 999 loli, and english readers would be singing praise all over this no matter how stupid or overused it's story is.Time to protect this smile.
It's simple; Morgoth made it through the Door of Night and initiated Dagor Dagorath.
So good and original ResidentSleeper
The Hero he met had literally explained the highest in recorded history that anybody had gotten was a "Legendary Hero" who got lv 250, while he's level 999 and was punching demons that the hero required an entire party to deal with.
Underdog is a term for one who is most likely to not succeed, he however is guaranteed to.
Yeah no, He IS a underdog, the way the world works force him to suck, yes hes more powerfull than any other hero know but if a hero can get lvl 400~350 hes doomed, why? Status, hes a vilager, he dont get ubber buffs from lvl up. heroes do, also the enemy he want to kill js nothing like a petty demon king, think something more "universal", the novel is prety good until he joins "forced" with the hero party, but then again 40 chapters of good work till then, all in all worth reading, the manga may have some spoilers, that 1 chapter is all about spoilers, but thats the way the author work and its good on my view.
Poor princess
I read the WN for a bit.
You will laugh at how he leveld up.
So stupid xD.
Is just a nuclear weapon vs a star.
1. He found out the 'trick' to levelling. There's always a first, and in this case, he's the one and that's why he's the MC... If someone else was the one who figured it out, that person would be the MC.
Or maybe not, but we just don't know anyone else at this point in the story. Heck, it's just Ch. 2.......
What's wrong with either?
Perhaps this can be a loophole later on, but since it hasn't been explained yet, you can't really say whether it makes sense that he can do it.
2. Nobody in the story mentioned anything about a chosen one. The hero's mission is self-proclaimed. His "hero" title is just his job, signifying battle potential. At the same level, the hero is stronger than any other job. But lvl 90 vs lvl 999...? If you've ever played any JRPG, you'd realize shitty characters can beat some difficult enemies when you're overlevelled.
In fact, we don't know for sure that the hero is a unique existence in the story...
Again, saying it makes no sense before the explanation is given by the author is just arguing against a strawman.
3. Generics being strong because of customization in RPGs is not a new concept. There's a lot of J-SRPGs where generics are really useful, and only a few named characters are unequivocally better, if at all.
Villagers being seen as weak in that world could then be attributed to public misconception, and the majority being unable to utilize their talents. Just because they think that way doesn't make it a universal truth.
4. He's not an underdog. He's lvl999 from the get-go. He's literally the opposite of an underdog.
He was at one point an underdog, but that's way before the story started... The story is by no means an underdog story.
We are shown how strong he is before he meets the hero. The fact that he's strong isn't particularly a plot twist.
5. On the topic of "things haven't been explained yet". Have you considered he may have an ability that adjusts his status screen? As an example, we see this ability from Death March's MC.
Unlikely, but again, "not yet explained" doesn't mean you can just add in what you think is the explanation and then criticize that...
___
Sure it's not the most inspired story in the world. I actually read the WN and dropped it quite early...
But your criticism is just strawmanning at this point.
So why no one ever before him did what he had done as become as strong as him?
Why is the Hero marked as chosen one but suck compare to the Villager, a class that has no specialty? Besides pandering to the common trope: Underdog and strong but boring main character cliche.
For some reason i just can't connect that the setting of this manga is supposed to be our very normal world in the future after fantasy shits happen. It just doesn't seem to contribute to anything as of now, so i do hope this fact will get some relevance later to the plot.
Also towards the other comments below, I didn't know that this one came out before the Goblin on in LN, so that's cool.. But, I can agree with the concept being closely related.
Edit: Oh, as for who would beat stronger than who, can't really answer that quest since we are talking about two different worlds. So, for all we know, they could be evenly matched out just due to the way leveling occurs.
LV 9999 Disgaea character. Duh.
