| Description: | Smart, successful and good-looking Iwaya Sumire works for a big newspaper. However, her boss asks her to leave for being too "perfect" a woman. Feeling angry and dejected Iwaya returns home depressed, and most of all lonely. However, when she finds an unconscious young man lying in a box out the front of her home and takes him in. He looks like a dog she used to own called Momo. She dubs him Momo and decides to "keep him as a pet." It's the start of an unexpected life together as they overcome obstacles and become quite attached to one another. But can love like this exist? fourth time re-reading this and still loving it <3
I hate this girl so much. Her ridiculous sophistry allows her to two-time while feeling morally righteous. She's never called out on her hypocrisy and gets everything she wants in the end with hardly any effort.
She was literally keeping a spare boyfriend, not a "pet". Not to mention how she broke up with the poor cuck because he was living with another woman (LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME THING SHE WAS DOING)
No, they took down the rest of the chapters here, so if you want the rest, you need to go to another site to finish it.
Enjoyable read but not great. The other woman was really a manipulative person and a gold digger , the worst kind of person. Still the ending was nice.

the fact that the story focuses on all the characters, no one is villanized, the women are diverse in terms of bodies, personalities, and choices... it's jsut so wonderful. Everyone had their own lives and works towards their own goals... wonderful. <3

Came here from reading the available chapters from this mangaka's Kiss & Never Cry. Really good josei manga on the effects and healing from being a victim of rape (not as flowery as I've put it). I hear that one of the side characters are recycled from this manga's Momo/Takeshi so I've decided to read it (after putting off for so long).
One of the best Josei-Manga, you just can feel the characters somehow. Its hilarious how they are in such a situation while being the most human figures I have barely got to know in Manga before.
Read it twice and dont regret it one bit. You can find the complete version in the internet but the scanquality is far away from these releases posted here.
I know I've read this entire series up through ch. 82. Why does batoto only have up through 37?
