Sort of reminds me of Dhampir and how they are outcasts, yet are necessary for killing vampires.
And surely they could have called it something else besides the taint.

A giant flying stingray with angry skulls for eyes is the kind of stupid-cool I can get into.
Art style and concept reminds me of... Claymore and Berserk. Protagonist reminds me of hitokiri battosai/goofy ronin Kenshin dichotomy. The girl reminds me of milk.
A little underwhelming so far, but I'm hardly the target audience. Still, I'm interested to see if this picks up.
