Glad I got here and finished this before then end of batoto. It seemed fitting, and no one may read this before the site closes but it just felt right to leave one last comment on one of the best manga I've read on this site before the doors close for good.

Yes! From the synopsis, this sounds like a non-romantic comedy. Might be similar in vibe to Bakuman. We'll see.

lost interest halfway trough as it dragged along... forced myself to finish 5/10

By the way, I'm surprised no one questioned what kind of incident involving "Eromine-kun" could have made Asahi and Youko sleep late…

Doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened. A better question would be how Eromine can establish the "mood" considering that coffin and whatnot.

I waited last week to read the chapter 'cause I needed to finish my thesis by monday ... then I forgot I needed to read it, until today when the chapters normally appear, then I remember it wasn't gonna happen

while feeling a little sad (also because of ch.1202 of Hajime no Ippo) ... I laughed and got a good smile while rereading ch.195 and the end of the series .... I knew the series ended a year ago and fighted every instict to not go for the raws and read each week the chapters being released by the awesome group of Futari wa ... I love you guys, you worked really hard and bring us something really great at a great quality.

I'm super happy to finally reach this end and got a great ending (because the series didn't got unnecesarily stretched) and even if I wanted to have more chapters with their wacky adventures and terrified and super hilarious faces I'm okay with all of this and grateful to the mangaka, to the magazine and to the translators T_T

it has been a good ride and thanks for all the fish.

I am truly going to miss Jitsu wa Watashi wa.  While it is good that it has a solid ending, as opposed to continuing forever, reaching the ending, no matter how well executed, is bittersweet.

Reading this again in the past few days. My tear duct is dried up now.

Clannad? Anohana? I cried more from this than those series. Tears of laughter, tears of sadness, tears of happiness. Everything. All while I laugh until the very end.

It maintains its combination of slice-of-life, comedy and romance nicely throughout the series. The characters are all fun, interesting, and most importantly, developed. They're such a glorious cast. The ending wrap it all up nicely without being sudden or dragged on.

Great start, great progress, great ending. What a rare combination.

Also, imo, one of the best part of this series is the attention to details. Daaamn, the background is so lively with all the details. All the more subtle jokes happening in the background are just perfect. Things like Akane and Shirogane following Asahi and Youko on their date in ch.169, or all the jokes happening while the people in the foreground are discussing a more serious matter, and all the callbacks.

Oh boy, Masuda-sensei, you fabulous bastard.

10/10 would marathon it again.

Hard to see this go. The romance was nice but it was the comedy and the artwork that had me coming back for more. I had to put off reading the end until the weekend because there was no way I could read it before going to work. I never would have believed that a manga I got into by watching the anime would have put me on such a roller coaster. I'll miss it. I really will.

The harem genre usually gets boring after a while, but this manga was interesting and hilarious till the end! Thank you for seeing it through!

Maybe because it stopped being a harem around halfway through?

You guys literally saved this series, I mean, Underdog couldn't do it haha. And I know the hardships of doing a weekly series. 

But you did it and managed it through the end. I salute you guys. Seriously, job well done!

I cant believe it's over. It's been a wild ride. A big thank you to the teams who translated this, i have not regretted even once starting reading it.

Also a big thank you to the community, reading the comments was half the fun. I'll miss the reaction gifs and the wild theories and realization. Let's all meet again at the next masuda's project.

Big thanks to Futari Wa Pretty Anon for translating this masterpiece. Really enjoyed reading it these past few years. One of the best romcom manga i've ever read till this day. Masuda-sensei delivered slapstick comedy,slice of life and sweet romance into a work that is rare to manga nowadays. 

This goes down as my favorite RomCom of all time, thank you very much for translating this Futari wa Pretty Anon
