You've given me an idea.
Next time I start a manga from a promising* author, I'll read the first 10-20 chapters, then skip 20-50 and think of it like a timeskip. I wonder what the likelihood is that I'll get a "How the heck did THAT happen!?" (something that would make me eyeroll if it were a real timeskip), but then go back and read the skipped chapters and it works perfectly.
* - No point in trying it with a foregone-conclusion manga, especially if it's some @$$hole like Seo. Knowing he just does whatever he wants anyway (unless the RL expy rejects him, like in Fuuka), something like what he did to

Sorry my bad, idk my computer freaked out when I was uploading Chapter 57 and didn't think it uploaded and then it uploaded as chapter 18 for some reason.
I was wondering how their relationship jumped so far in one chapter lol.
ch 18 and 57 are the same, the content is actually 57 so delete 18 ( checked raws )

That's not true. Sometimes, for one reason or another, chapters will be removed for a period of time. And sometimes they will come back with [A] next to the timestamp. This has nothing to do with being logged in or out.
How could that be the case, as I was looking at the chapters when I made the post, and this had to be logged in? Plus if it wasn't clear from what I said earlier, I could see chapter 0.
I'm pretty sure it's just that there's a website script that removes and reuploads the middle chapters of a batch and flags them so they don't show up on follow lists. Which I appreciate, as it keeps any one manga from dominating it.
Dude, it's the difference between logging into your batoto account and not. Old chapters can only be read with a batoto account
