Description: A man was about to commit suicide and decides to search for a way to die in the internet, but then he found an odd site that asked a lot of questions and had a point based system that allows you to create skills and abilities for a character. He took interest in it and when he finished setting his character he was asked "You will now be transported to a world with the settings you choose, coming back is not possible, do you still accept?", Then without thinking much of it he pressed YES and found himself in another world with the skills and abilities he chose to have.

Why cant most Japanese authors come up with a fantasy setting unless its based on a video game?, the trope is so over done.

I think you mean RPG settings, because I don't think this series is based on a specific video game.

Also 'most Japanese authors' is too exaggerated; even 'most Japanese light novel authors' is pretty exaggerated

in addition to anoon2323's points, I also think it's because a lot of Japanese light novel readers like RPGs.

Makes for easy skill progression. Why bother writing about how this guy trained or studied a thing for several pages when you just want to skip the shit and head over to the action and world building. It's an easy, fun and cheap device to keep it moving for writers that aren't too experienced or don't care. Might also make for interesting scenes where you give an asshole, pervert or an inept some power and watch how it turns out.
This is just a cheeky manga for titties and whatever curiosities they write up.

This MC is such an asshole, so cringeworthy.

Just saying.

He could just steal her, he can hide his thief class.

:3 come on author, fill your plot holes.

Literally.

He can hide the Class but hiding actual stolen Goods (especially a whole Person :P ) is a lot harder.

"Hey remember Tolkien? Exactly the same as that."

It's easier for them. Instead of having to do any world building, they can just go "hey, remember game X? My world is like that."

really MC? you're just going to stand there watching a group of bandits rape an innocent lady? i know you are an asshole that only thinks of himself, that was proven when you sold that guy into slavery but god damn. you are out hunting for bandits and here are these 4-5 bandits about to rape a lady, kill them, you get your prize and you will be a hero but instead you just stood there.

and don't try to bullshit by saying "they were to high lvld" the highest lvld one was lvl 9 and MC have already taken down a lvl 41 bandit so a lvl 9 and a couple of lvl 3-5 wouldn't be a problem...

You have to think of it from that worlds point of view, our sense and logic does not apply to it. Why should he risk his life fighting a group of enemies to save a person he doesn't know? To be a good person? Sure but that nets him virtually nothing, and a lucky shot from those enemies could easily kill him, since that world is more like the real world vs. a game. If any of them also manage to escape, or there was someone else watching, like him, they will know what he looks like and then he will be targeted afterwards, and probably die soon after either back-stabbed or in his sleep. The only upside here is saving a persons life, which we view as very important in our society, but in theirs lives are much more expandable ei slaves.

TL;DR He knows nothing about this world, he has no relationship to her, and helping her puts him in a shit ton of danger!

If I remember correctly, that few amount of bandits wouldn’t have been enough, and they’d definitely go into hiding if they knew they were being targeted. I think he’s going to interrogate the Brahim-speaking one for all their bases and take the entire organization of them in one swoop? Don’t be a white knight.

Man, I can't tell which head this idiot is thinking with. Either way, both appear to be quite stupid. He must have low INT and WIS stats, and a really low LUK stat.

Leveling appears to be unbalanced in that world. The MC needs a mage subclass to buff his weak MP.

It's not really explained, but leveling is insanely slow in this world. He only got a few levels because he has points in somethings that increase the exp he gets and reduces the exp required to level. For other people, leveling up is an extremely slow process.

(I'm explaining because the mangaka apparently decided not to mention little details like how anything at all works.)

It could certainly be the difference between the WN and LN because both Nermie and I have read most, if not all of the chapters of the WN (I've read them all, pretty much)...and not only is it PAINFULLY slow, especially considering the time between chapter releases...but...the dude DEFINITELY treats them like objects.

Spoiler

Wow you must have dropped it right before the newest chapters *spoiler*

Spoiler

Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomoni has mecha as well as android girls, but the manga hasn't gotten to those points yet.

You just gave me the one I said I already knew about...

Isekai (whether it's of the zero tension Japanese style or the awesome deathgame Korean style) tends to have simple violence as an fun and easy way to earn an income. Modern and sci-fi settings tend to frown on such serial killer as a job protagonists (though "invasion" style settings where monsters invade the real world and "awakened" people are given RPG systems to fight them with are popular in Korea).

The only thing that comes to mind in the world of animoo with android waifus being a significant element would be the ancient Chobits. For androids in general there's Plastic Memories, and for a more realistic and more universally considered "good" thingy, there's Time of Eve.

I already knew about those. I'm looking for a fantasy robot waifu story. I'd like a mc that's a magic puppetmaster, golemancer or something like that and build his own harem. Maybe I ought to write such story myself...

Aww... Do you know any manga that would fit the bill? There's the smartphone isekai one I think but it doesn't look good.

This manga has two of my most despised words. Isekai & Harem.

So I refuse to read it, out of principle

>:-(

Unfortunately for the rest of us, your principles don't extend to the point where you withhold comment about a story you haven't read.

There are no robots in this specific fantasy world.

It's a reference that the only thing close to having a waifu in the real world would be an android.

Go on... you have my attention... If you were litteral, I think I'll like this story.

it is a pity the web novel writing has slowed down so much. who else except me loves the slave seller? i like the way the artist draws expressions and echi stuff

it's actually not so bad. at least the MC isnt some spineless high-moral wuss

robot fantasy waifus

It is clearly shown on the title so why click and comment on it?

You don't get post count on the comment section so there is literally no merit on commenting on it.

I would like for this to at least reach the dragon lady with expanding boobs.

This is probably the first manga i have seen where the MC actually encounters difficulties with the local language, culture, etc.

Unfortunately, it has video game mechancs.

Also i cant help but wonder why all the slave related isekai have a male MC. It would be much more interesting to see a female MC react to it.

Practically every male MC is just :

>buy a slave?

>omg omg omg!!! sex slaves lololol

>[insert obligatory ecchi scenes where the MC fantasizes]

>but but but slavery is wrong!

>no wait! i will set her free afterwards so its totally okay!
