Does Tetra-chan have a hidden past or something?

Yes, not gonna spoil or anything but read the novel if you want to find out.

Does Tetra-chan have a hidden past or something?

i never understood why people hate math. i always found it one of the most fun parts in school and on e of the easiest. as long as you know the formula no matter how big the numbers it's easy to solve

For me, it was TOO easy. There was no challenge. No fun. Just pages and pages of grinding drill exercises that had no meaning because I had already mastered the concept on the first try. It became a very frustrating subject, and by the end of high school I wanted to have nothing to do with math.
I only use math to make spreadsheets for other teachers to better manage mark assessment and such.

"It is kind of weird to see a bird eat meat"

Err, I am sure 100% of birds are carnivore. It is weird to see a bird that eats vegetable.

Very few of them are herbivores, most of them are omnivores and eat a lot of stuff from barried to small insects all the way to carcasses. There's some who are primarily/exclusively carnivores though.

Coincidentally I'm leanring japanese atm. I mostly can only read basic sentence forms in hiragana.

I need to draw up a chart for katakana, it turns out the easiest way to learn hiragana is not the 5x10 typical chart but by looking at a kana keyboard with all 5 functions per button visibile
e.g.
・ う ・ ・ く ・
い あ え き か け
・ お ・ ・ こ ・
which is basically the equivalent of:

.. u .. .. ku ..
 i a e ki ka ke
.. o .. .. ko ..
and provided I know at least one character per button, I knew where to find each character based off sound.

I haven't gotten it down entirely yet since I only started learning a few days ago, but I can create a digital printalbe version later if anyone feels like having one. I need to do one for katakana too which I will probably include in one big chart with the hiragana together. Thing is, my writing is really messy so I don't want to get too much into writing illegible characters, although there are some things I've noticed that you can't quite see on digitical characters, such as how the れ character only has two strokes (one is just a vertical line, the other one is a "Z" with a curly end)

Edit: I made the chart:

Is manga skip a lot?

That's because human law cannot punish machines but only humans. Even if the truck were to possess the driver, only the driver would go to jail, truck-kun can go on and find its next victim *smirk*

What would be fun is if the main character was actually run over by a female truck driver that kidnaps him in fear of license revocation. Because she lives impoverished and is a foreigner, he thinks that he's gone to another world after dieing :)

It would be pretty interesting, but I can't see the guy surviving the accident.

One day, I want to see the truck getting transported to another world after being hit by a train, lol.

As someone who gets distracted easily, and has a pretty piss-poor short-term memory, I tend to misplace the calculations I made, and end up having to redo basic calculations all over again. More than anything, it ends up being a huge chore to complete trivial procedures, like: "was it a plus or a minus here? Time to redo bloody everything I guess."

It's like day-dreaming while going to the kitchen, and then forgetting why you even went there. Imagine that happening to you while solving a long problem. Not entertaining in the least.

I don't know about others, but the reason why I dislike school math is becuse there is no explanation behind it, the teacher tell you it's this way and you have to accept it, and because you don't know the proper reason, you have to keep practicing that instead multiple times, needless effort. Only in University do we learn that there is a proper logic behind everything in math, and it gets bearable.

I can see some of these kids complaining about this in the near future

Yay, he finally reached the point where he can pet her~

I can only speak for myself, but math basically becomes a chore and a slog once it stops having a practical application. I was able to enjoy the simpler stuff like algebra and geometry since I could see a use for them in daily life, but once we got the the more abstract things, my interest waned fast.

I too loves math until I encounter the dreaded Additional Math.

Had that idea some time ago. Guy get's Isekai'd as the "Demon Lord", except in a world where the good guys won long ago. So he starts a drug empire. Staying under the radar, building funds to raise an army and rebuild his domain while simultaneously destroying the communities he is selling stuff too. Imagine magical enhanced meth, cocaine etc.

so basically a demonic drug lord

i like that idea. hope you can write a story good enough to attract a decent artist. would help you but i'm a bit tied up with RL stuff for the next month or 2 (finding a job)

An Isekai drug dealer would be pretty interesting. Only one so far is rapist goblin Rou and his 'love' potions.

It's japan, you can't just SAY it's weed, you gotta do something like this:

Spoiler

There needs to be more Isekai like that, MC comes into the new world trying to apply his cheat knowledge only to realise things work TOTALLY different.

maybe, because this is not isekai about horticulture or world adventure, that too much different at small/irrelevant level will makes it unnecessarily messy and hard to read.

there are already mythical creatures and so-called blessings too.

Isekai weed dealer lmao

Tetra-chan <3

It's a shame that crop rotation just works.

What if he was like 'we just do wheat, then clover, then potatoes, and the soil heals!' and they were like 'I've never heard of those plants, we have a totally different biosphere.'

Ah well.

this truly is another world. I mean someone liking math?

Dunno man, I like math. Stochastic processes are pretty damn neat for example.

dunno, after reading the wn translation of isekai shousetsu i kinda miss the glossary he uses
