Yeah, it's an original story written by the author of Kakeguri.
hm... why do i thinhk that the victim died on something else and the head maid just try to cover it up with a murder case...
...
depend on how victim dead too ...
exceeding sleeping drug can also kill a person ... << (hint, hint)
also what the drug composition is, the drug might have effect to the victim ...
Police are as dumb as they are required to be
Old myths were crude like that, kinda makes sense given the scenario. Though I wouldn't discard the writers of such old myths as being incels lol
The start of the chapter gave it away that he was already dead. The real question is what is the evidence proving the maid's innocence.
It's probably that there isn't enough blood on the bed. You bleed a LOT less if you are already dead, even if the death is extremely recent. Although, that is just an obvious one that I don't understand why the police wouldn't have picked up on it.
Apparently slavery is legal as well given how the MC doesn't even think twice about it.
It's alive !
Thank you for the chapter.
It was called a curse, I guess if she gets too far from the guy or isn't in contact for sometime it triggers and kills her.
Now is obvious that she was drugged and pushed in the room with that old man, if she was ready to kill him for preserve her chastity and way of life why getting ready to pass the night with him(lingerie)? And the knife?
Maybe the other maids decided to poison him for his abuse of power but they misscalculated and used too much putting him in a coma or something, fearing being found out they used the new comer that wasn't into the plan as scapegoat.
My proofs for the theory are the intro with glasses maid, the maid shopping from mad scientist loli, the unablance of the events and how we never seen the noble talk or move, he was vegetative from page 1.
MC will probably used the sheets as proof, like the bleeding or how the noble was waiting for sex in a full rest position.
I think it may be a law of her species, rather than some weird magic shenanigans. If it were the latter, it would just raise all sorts of weird questions.
When I first read it I thought it mean if they left as in left for another person not the same place they live in.
lol
In the case of a normal couple, she would be dead going out to buy groceries
placing bets, he was already dead by the time of the stabbing.
"Death if they leave the one who takes their virginity."
Did a incel write this?
I'd like to release chapters in a quicker span then 6 almost 7 months apart...
It's good to see this updated again. Out of curiosity, how often will this be updated in the future? The notes at the front say you don't have much time to do stuff and have other projects, etc. so will it be just a once in a while type thing?
Did they stop translating this great manga?
Does Japan not have the "everyone is equal under the law" thing? That seemed like it would have been obvious to reference.
OBJECTION!
Via Japanese moral law, 13-year-olds have the right of approval. Also it isn't illegal to have sexual intercourse with a minor who either:
1.) Lies about his/her age
2.) Belongs to a completely different species than humans
Thus, with that reasoning, Donatella is perfectly fine as a legal waifu.
Although my second point is just based on United States' law, I'm sure Japanese law would be the same. In the last decade, there have been cases that cater specifically to these two exceptions.
1.) Minnesota 19-year-old was acquitted of all charges when he had sexual intercourse with a 15-year old who claimed she was 18.
Year: 2011-2012
2.) Internet personality performs bestiality with her pet dog, who is confronted by police. No charges were filed against her, although PETA was balls deep angery at her.
Year: 2014, I think?
OBJECTION!
(I'm going to say that at the beginning of every comment.)
The manga said he was fleeing from the restaurant to get his wallet, which means he did have an intent to pay off his debt. He had a means to do so, and intended on doing so, but not at his current location because he forgot his wallet.
Unless "intent to defraud" means something different than its constituent terms would strongly imply, I'm pretty sure it's not "intent to defraud" when you, in fact, INTEND to pay what is owed.
It is established in this chapter that, were he to actually not pay at this establishment that knew who he was, it would be a major problem for him.
What someone wants to accuse him of is different from what is going to stick due to actually being reality.
Description checks out
