Started reading this manga without much expectations, and there's really nothing in this manga that separates it from others of the same genre, but overall, I wouldn't say that it's terrible. Given that it's pretty short, there's really not much depth to the story so you could skim through the manga and still understand the story. In my case tho, I would read this while waiting for the pages of another manga to load (Manga Viewer, anyone?). With all that said, I was actually rooting for Yuika. Too bad. Oh well.

I'm ok with the end and liked this manga. It's a pity there were only 15 chapters and this manga has a lot more potential.

Boku Girl is a pretty similar manga and got over 100 chapters.

I got lucky on the stock market.... He just brushes her.. Him off with that

isnt this suppose to be yaoi XD

Can't really be Yaoi when the MC has a girl's body  :P

I get it now, i'm sure that Oguri knew exactly what the pills do and see then the chance of making a fuckton of money by being an idol, but he simply can't give up in his sex to fullfip that, so endend choosing for using Chinami, and then later, falled in love with him after all.

That or Oguri was in love with him from the very begininng, or maybe he knew Yuika was a lesbian and so...

Idk what was the porpuse on the pills but there's no way Oguri confused such sex-changing pills for fever pills.

oguri didn't confuse the pills, he simply left out pills from an online purchase, it's likely the actual pills were where he said they were.

all of this was eita's mess up not a premeditated crime of oguri's xD

also the pills costing so much and that he got lucky in the stocks let him buy them are their own story really. the guys a total beauty nut who looks hot as heck when crossdressing, there's nothing to say he wasn't intending to use the pills himself.

as for the pills, it's possible only the MC would have such a reaction to them during his cold, who knows since it wasn't part of the story we saw.

but the story is basically that a persons gender holds a lot of sway over how they think and act, the MC was acting manly for the girl because he thought it was what she liked and he thought he liked her. once his gender flipped he had to express a completely different side of his personality, he wasn't really acting a fake persona, just exploring another part of himself. once he started living his other half he saw things differently and starting to feel differently about his friend.

memories are what makes a person who they are, not their body or abilities etc. he has had a lot of memories with his friend while he was male and then when he was female, these would influence his feelings as his friend never stopped treating him naturally the whole time and that's appealing in a person.

then the motto of the whole story kept being brought up later "gender doesn't matter". the argument that when all things are done and considered, you shouldn't let your gender (past or present) get in the way of what you feel.

stories like this can be considered to a deep level if chosen to, but nowhere would it hint at being a planned conspiracy, that would just cheapen the whole story to nothing more than "successful brainwashing and subjugation". which kills any of the many positive aspects that are shown like emotional support from friends, love interests and rivals.

:^) what a good read

wish their was more

I have a feeling the untranslated words on the magazine adds context to the ending but since we can't read it that doesn't count for shit.

No it doesn't, it's just a cover to a magazine with Chinami in it. I promise you that it means nothing more than 'they continued their life like this'.

Yaoi fans mad this wasn't a boy boy ending, Yuri fans mad that this wasn't a girl/girl ending.  Apparently gender bending is only acceptable until the very last moments and then they should be either gay or lesbian and not something more complex.

Most apparently still see the flesh  and not the mentality aspect of it all as it is how you think that makes you what you are is that now gays and lesbian preaches? I for one liked the ending because it one of the few gender bender out there that didn't cop out and actually somewhat addressed the issue without caving in to the easy solutions or resolution.

It makes for an interesting manga.

I don't care who s/he ends up with! Just give me some sort of ending! Now I'll be up at night imagining both way it could've ended!

Rather disappointed MC didn't end up with the girl he originally fell in love him. Seems like a poor choice to have him end up with the reason he became a girl in the first place.

Oh dear, all the yuri fanboys are whining aren't they?

Instead of having a kneejerk reaction to what they think is boy's love (not really, it's technically heterosexual now) just accept the way the author took it. Me, I'm dissatisfied for the lack of character growth, but this was an interesting read.

No. This is why:

Ending ruined it. It's like the main character completely lost the objective of their goal. It's like... they were trying to be the manliest man for the girl they like... got turned into a girl and then "oh well I guess I should choose a more socially acceptable partner" ...yeah bite me. I haven't been this disappointed in an ending since Seven Oceans... so you know.. grats I guess.

The ending, while rushed is still decent, the resolution is a little vague but there at least, unlike a few others I've read -shrugs-

Spoiler

I liked the way it ended in terms of pairing (I'm a sucker for those ends) but I wish the mangaka had added more to it than just IMMEDIATE END and no adding on to what happened after like

did chinami ever turn back?

what about the other characters???

the end just left so many unresolved things and mainly focused on that single pair at the end and even then didn't really do much about it other than quickly putting them together and ending it right there

Sigh.

I actually didnt see the ending as cliched since id never seen a character like oguri 'win' before. If anyone could point me toward mangas like this one that end up the same way, id be thrilled. (Im saying this in all seriousness, i just havent read enough of this genre maybe)

Too bad. I read this awhile back and was kinda disappointed in oguri's lack of character development even in the ending so i thought maybe this chapter was an epilogue, but it'd fit more around chapter 8. The arts still cute though

My biggest question this entire series was why did chinami chug the entire bottle. Any sane person would take three pills max or a tablespoon if it was somehow supposed to be liquid,

In the end,

Spoiler

Huh?! That's the ending?! What a shit load of fuck!!

...T^T THAT WAS SOME AWESOME READ, I LOVE IT...I FEEL THAT EVERYTHING IS RUSHED AROUND THE LAST 3 CHAPTERS THOUGHT...such a shame to rush good manga...btw i seen that one coming so it didnt surprise me.

Hermoso final, me gusto, preciso y sin mucha palabreria de como estarian en adelante. c:

i guess the Oguri Flag was triggered a long time ago in chap 2 so the end was kinda rushed but it doesn't matter who the MC was going after

and serious how the hell Oguri say that the medicine for cold was in desk when the only medicine there was the "make you beauty XD" and calling it a drink when he clearly ate a tons of pillors from that bottle.....

Why do I feel like its all Oguri's plan by turning him into a she?

Spoiler

Because Oguri don't want to be a gay.

Well... I don't really care if the author into BL. XD
