Sad that batoto doesn't allow these types of manga. It forces me to go to less reputable places on the internet.

sorry to see it deleted. the first part of the manga was pretty fun, honestly, and candid, too. 

 

second part was boring and senseless, i dont know if they also introduced loli ecci stuff, but IMO wasnt even worth reading without it.

Wow Ichinensai's almost finished, these last two volumes have been pretty crazy. 
I can accept why it isn't here even if it is infinitely better than a lot of other things on batoto.

You are correct on this. Hanging around a number of forums has taught me that arguing with site admins is a waste of time. At the end of the day, they are paying the server costs, so they can do whatever they want. It's a real pity though. My friends read manga casually, and don't really know much about the scanlation scene and it's problems. I tried to explain things to them and get them to switch from mangafox to batoto. Of 17 friends, only 2 are still reading on batoto. The rest went back to mangafox. I suppose I don't even need to say why.

Cuz Batoto bans ecchi loliness? or cuz some see it as a form of child er... naughty child pics? But this does violate the terms for uploaded manga you know..

I think the one thing that needs to be stressed here is the fact that Batoto is "privately" run..........they can indeed ban "anything they don't like while they keep those they do"

and they honestly don't owe anybody the first excuse or explanation............those are just the facts. It's their site and they're free to host/rehost what and how they want.........just like I'm free to go elsewhere for those things they chose not to. Which I of course do.

 

Just caught up to the latest chapter of this one..... very, very funny. Hopefully there'll be a new release soon, only one volume left to completion it looks like.

Though I must say, I've personally never complained about TLRD...........heck, I read that one too. I make it a rule to only draw attention to titles that don't conform to the rules and that I don't want to read. 

 

And therein lies the problem. You can't blame people for claiming that batoto isn't following their own rules when rules are being applied "subjectively". To third party observers, that just looks like an excuse to ban manga they don't like while keep those that they do, as you have done. Admittedly, i'm guilty too. I'm reading TLRD as well, so I didn't push the issue any further. They might have no choice but to ban TLRD if I did lol.

 

Anyway, what needs to be done to address the problem is to have a set of rigid rules. The fact that we even have to ask if something is acceptable or not is problematic. Make it absolutely set in stone what is allowed and what is not. If lolicon isn't allowed, define it clearly and stick to it. The current definition leaves a lot to be desired. Anyone under the age of 17 is defined as children, and children are not allowed to be shown in sexual situations? Oh boy. If we want to apply that guideline, just about every ecchi manga should be pulled.

 

A simpler alternative would be to ignore those prudes at google ads and just host absolutely everything(short of outright porn of course), as mangafox has done. I'm not well informed on the world of web advertising, but it seems odd to me that mangafox isn't facing any trouble at all and is reportedly raking in the dough from advertising. Meanwhile, batoto cannot truly replace mangafox as a manga aggregator because it has it's hands tied by advertisers? Can't we just drop google ads and switch to whichever ad network mangafox is using?

Take a look at to love-ru darkness. Mikan is a 12 year old loli. I don't know Nana and Yami actual age, but they can be considered lolis if you ignore the "thousand year old trapped in loli body" trope. These three characters get into even more provocative sexual situations than you can ever find in ichinensei. Than there's the new character Nemesis, who has the youngest body among all the characters. She first gets real screentime in chapter 29, and she's already being very aggressive. We can see her nipples, and she showed the MC her bare crotch(though readers can't see due to convenient placement of hair). Her first completely nude entrance is in her adult form, but I bet we'll see her in her full loli glory within 5 chapters.

*EDIT*: Okay, so i caught up with the latest chapters of ichinensei, and it's getting a bit too saucy recently. Heh. Anyway, my point was that when this manga was first taken down, it was relatively tame when compared to the likes of to love-ru darkness. Now it's about equal.

I just started this title, cute and funny so far........but in regards to your statement that Batoto, in particular mhh, "didn't bother to follow his own guidelines".......you're dead wrong.

I'm only in chapter two and the "children involved in sexual conduct of any nature" is already blown out of the water. No big deal to me, but rules are rules..........I read my adult stuff and hentai elsewhere. The content issue, at this point, isn't really up for debate here. Rules are rules.

By the way, report those other titles you're upset about being here, if they violate the rules they should be removed too.

"mhh", the person who banned this manga, is apparently the person who wrote the "guidelines" for so-called "adult content" on Batoto. It is a pity he apparently didn't bother to follow his own guidelines when he decided to ban this series. The fact that this is delete except Negima, To Love-RU especially, Love Hina is another. This is complete and utter stupidity here.

if a manga is more popular they will change the limits, like to love ru, it's as simple as that. just like animecrazy bans ecchi but top 10 anime with ecchi are still on it.

Because right now what gets censored and what is acceptable content is pretty arbitary and completely up to the whims of site admins. Lolis in underwear here is unacceptable apparently, but completely naked lolis(with nipples!) in to love-ru is completely fine.

I doubt starting a thread on this will change anything. It's been done before numerous times on other series that got removed.

I think we have to start a thread on the support for this.

The dreaded mangareader host this series. Aswell and manga trader and manga inn to name a few.

It doesn't cross the border. But it doesn't do itself any favours by being so provocative. Otaku no Musume-san is much the same as Ichibensei in how they dance around this provocative theme still there plenty of other mange reader sites out there that host this series it really isn't a problem.

it's easy to find the scan group, just simply copy paste any title in www.mangaupdates.com and you see all the scanlation groups, find out which one is the good one and click on it, there you can click on a link to the site.
