Description: | When Viscount Ascham’s House’s eldest daughter, Adele von Ascham, became 10 years old, she remembered everything with an intense headache. Her previous self, Kurihara Misato, 18 years old Japanese, lost her life when trying to help a young girl, and then she met God… A somewhat capable person burdened by the many expectations of the surrounding people, Misato, who couldn’t live as she wanted, pleaded to God. “In the next life, please make my abilities average!” Just as she wished for it, he made her abilities average. Yes, an average of a normal human and the strongest being there is, an ancient dragon! The girl with 3 names, being careful to not accidentally become a S-rank hunter, lives normally. I mean, I’m just an average, common girl. No, seriously. RAW: http://comic-earthstar.jp/detail/noukin/ |

It looks like 2 arcs were skipped. That's staggering, even for comic-adaptation standards.
It's not even from the point of view of "he skipped the good parts" -- my angle is more about: "so much was skipped, as if the manga tried to get to "the good parts" as fast as possible".
...What good parts? This is isekai, let's not get ahead of ourselves. If this was Kumo-desu-ga or something similar, I could understand why one would want to rush to the thicker parts of the story and skip most of the gamy-exposition. But I highly doubt this story even reaches such a level.
I'm going to assume that the things she talks about with having to move twice were actual arcs previously that got entirely skimmed over by the mangaka.
rly?
Am I missing something? Did it get replaced? Mamoritai's translation has some rather unnatural and lazy English, but it is by no means bad. Why is everyone complaining about half translated sentences tier?
Unlike champion scans whose English flows very naturally but it seems they took a lot of liberties. Many sentences are abridged compared to Mamoritai's version.
Is this really shounen? I guess if it's published in a shounen magazine it is per definition, but it rather feels like a shoujo.
Guess it's time to unfollow and wait for LN release...
They are already like 1/2 through the LN... wooo
I can't believe they have done this. They skipped the good parts. Like an entire arc.
That's not unusual for cutesy shoujo manga.
Plot aside, the visuals of this manga seem really incomplete
Several panels are basically lineart, the backgrounds are often empty white spaces - the whole thing just gives off a vibe of a rushed unfinished output
oh gods this art style is CUTE! fuuuck help meeeee-ccct
I wouldn't say never. Usually, it goes from WN to LN to Manga/Anime.
Ie, if a WN is getting popular enough, some people in the industry will notice it and hire the author to write a LN version (usually a bit different and somewhat rewritten). And then manga/anime follows eventually, if the response is good.
...
hmm, can't found vol 1 and 2 RAWs ...
I guess this manga don't sell well either ...
...
yeah, they skip awfully a lot ... as in A LOT !
pretty much hint "manga for LN promotion" ...
and probably we can't expect long story in here either ...
If she falls exactly at 50% of the min-max value and she is 6800 times stronger than an average human in magic,
an average human is at 0.00735% of the min-max
I was actually gonna ask if god made her power so roughly 50%-60% of everything is weaker than her. That would sorta be average after all, just overall, and not average human-wise.
Manga (and anime) are never adapted from web novels. Web novels are amateur works with no publisher, and therefore no money. Light novels have publishers, and therefore people who want the money brought in by adaptations.
Manga are usually adapted from the LN, so yes. LN is the middle adaptation in between where a lot of editing and whatnot takes place. So... I haven't read the LN but I really hope that that entire school portion hasn't been removed and this is just rushed promotional material.
He did it on purpose.
To express his gratitude and
Btw, if you are interested in the setting, there is similar novel - Evil God Average
https://oniichanyamete.wordpress.com/index/evil-god-average/
And it's quite amusing, if you ask me.
Oh... So the mangaka skipped a huge chunk of WN plot.
And that chunk was the best part of the novel.
Sad.
I assume correctly that this an adaptation of the ln and not the wn right?
Is it bad that I feel that this is normal, and that it makes me laugh every time?
Damn, it's like World Teacher all over again.
Nice job with the drawing in last page, Chum!
I'm eager to see how Mile destroys the school with her averager power!
So it was rushed? Dammit, I guess I'll have to buy the novel then.
they just skipped all the good stuff. Adele's leftover bone that she feeds to the cat and the friends that find said bone. angel scene. so much good stuff. That arc is one of my favorites
