There's no real point to even discuss this bit. The author created a lol-derp comedy story about Super-mega-magic-VR that does things that makes absolutely no sense, and the entire game is based on absurdity and the purest level of bullshit.
My previous comment is just there to show that there are parts in-story, that are so extreme in terms of what the technology can do, to the point that I cannot appreciate some of them.

But if you want to be anal about it, sure. Highly immoral and *SHOULD be illegal.
edit: can't seriously anyone just create a global Discord channel for mango? adding a shit ton of services is a huge drag.

No kidding. Mind reading and mind-altering abilities by an NPC, and it stores your memories on the game's servers? Now that's both broken-absurd, AND highly, insanely illegal. Almost like the broken-weapon which can delete your character at ch28. I almost adore how the story just doesn't even stop to wonder if it went too far or not...I'm actually beginning to wonder how far it is willing to go at this point.

Even with how much I enjoy this particular comic, I have to agree. This game is mad broken, it even got to the point it started to detract from my ability to enjoy the story.
It's as counter-intuitive as it gets to design a game which is literally unfair. Your character is born a certain way, and your character can range from being completely fucking screwed over, or gaining a cheat-level ability that can only be competed against with abnormal means. Not to mention, the game is practically dominated by whales. By money. What happened to creating a world in which people can become most of what they want to if they put enough effort in it? It's like this game was made to be difficult to enjoy. Bloody Korean stories, seriously.
This story is practically a gamified fantasy land which revolves mostly around politics and personal drama, rather than be "a game world", seeing as the game-mechanics are awfully planned and pushed aside.

Yet, the plot moves along rather rapidly, the characters are fun, and the stakes are generally high. The basic formula is there, so it's fun to read. But man, that game is mad broken indeed. I basically get the feeling that any of the high-ranked players earned their position, because "fuck you".

ahh, sorry for that comment. I really shouldn't be writing when tired. It just makes for quite asinine comments with poor grammar.

Anyway, if you want everyone to run around in bikinis then that is fine. The reason as to why I dislike it is because it oftentimes clashes design wise with everything else. A good example of people having both gigantic hell-beasts and good looking outfits would be "Bayonetta" (God I love those gun-heels). If you are going to put something into your game/manga/anime/etc., then don't forget that it should mesh with the rest of it design wise.
