When was it not a battle manga?  It was a battle manga when you saw the battle poses on the first page of the first chapter.  Not to mention it was written by an author known for... his battle manga.  Because he only writes battle manga.

Darkness tried to be serious and with all those "lucky perverts" moments it throw them down the garbage, Sora no Otoshimono played good the massive fanservice with story, TLR D not so much.

Guys, whatever you do, don't fight a bear in real life. Those guys are waaay faster than you think, and with their hulking strength, sharp claws and huge body mass, they can shred people to pieces with little to no effort.

Unless you're Zangief or Bear Hugger from Punch Out (Wii).
