Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai

The lead girl is adorable looking and the story so far seems pretty cute. The one thing that bothers me though is when Hananoi-kun (not sure if I'm remembering that right) says

that he's be willing to die for her smile. I get that this chapter was trying to demonstrate him going the extra step for her and make an impression, but that seems a bit extreme. The line sounds good but in the context it comes off a bit creepy considering he barely knows her. In reality that would be a giant red flag that this guy will be obsessive and clingy but thank goodness for shoujo magic to erase that problem.

I thought the point is that the story recognizes he is taking things way out of proportion and that's why she gave him a good talking to.

Not sure he got the message yet though. After all, gotta have something to work on in the coming chapters, right?

Aaaah, f*ck, where am I even going to end up reading the continuation of this, I wonder... Following a million scanlation groups individually just isn't something I'm capable of doing.
