Damn man. So much feels for Xiaoyou because she knows she can't have a future with him.
You're not the first one to say this. People tend to be more sympathetic to her once they get deeper into the story.
And then what? I doubt she would become corporeal. Honestly, i don't know where this story is heading. For me it's a no-brainer that this will end with his guardian spirit passing on to the after-life after doing something really grand, like saving his life or something. Or maybe some really fcked up plot twist where she would possess his gf because she fell into coma as a result of accident, and by possessing her appearance would slowly change to accomodate the spirit inside(but i doubt something like that would happen).
After 3 chapters I can't even enjoy this. I thought maybe it'd be kind of a funny series, but his childhood friend ghost is just an outright bitch. Nothing endearing or acceptable at all about how she acts.
I have a guess here. If she falls for Yu more and her power increases I hope she turns into her "adult" form to compete with his girlfriend.

Contrary to the image that the car was going fast, it was actually just moving 2 kilometers per hour. The author was just tricking us into thinking the car was going fast.
