Yeah... if this creeplord drama source bothers anyone reading this, you should know that he is by no means the last and this poor girl's life seems to have a revolving door for guys like that.
I've skimmed through the Italian translation and came to the conclusion that the manga is really rather terrible.
You'd think the father-daughter thing + successor to a business empire issue is more than enough drama on its own to mix in with all the sparkles, but the author apparently decides that most of the drama should come from love rivals. Manipulative, dubiously-intentioned love rivals, who would promptly be redeemed because of the heroine's kindness (and lack of proper boundaries and sense of consent...) and because they had daddy issues or some shit. Hell, one rival was introduced right after another's arc was finally "concluded." And he's worse! Creepier! More rapey!
The result is that there's so little bonding time for a supposed "familial" relationship and so many scenes with the rivals, some make you think "so why aren't they the main couple again?" (mostly for the first rival; the second has no redeeming value) and others unpleasantly creep you out.
Author pls. If you want to write a pseudo-father-daughter "dangerous" family romance, fucking write one. I'm not even a fan of the trope (in fact quite the opposite) and somehow I'm annoyed it's such a faulty take on it.
Article 734 means you can't marry adoptive parents/grandparents/great-grandparents/etc., but you can marry their siblings. (Original text actually says "collateral relatives by blood on the side of the adoptive relatives.")
The Yale link is broken now, so here's a new one: http://www.international-divorce.com/japan_civil_code.htm
Is this really were you draw the line? I mean, this is actually pretty ligth in comparison with a lot of other weird crap out there
why it was so easy for spanish to translate japanese mangas in their own language than english..
Thank you very much for your great efforts.
Please continue to update this manga in English....
you must be a big fan of u*a*i d*o*
as for me, it's expected and makes this less interesting instead...
don't we all want surprise like in *s*g* *r*p
yeah its not like is fiction or anything
I usually like stories about age gap and incest, BUT....This shit is wrong like hell. He took her to be his father, not his future LOVER!!!
Adoption is a serious thing, they shouldn't be playing with something like this.
Whaaat?! That's really crazy. Even though there's that much of a difference in age...old enough to be his actual daughter I think? I know their not blood but the story seems kinda wrong. Its like being dragged to a adoption father just for him to get a younger girl...lol
Non so perchè ma dal capitolo 4 in poi, la prima pagina la posiziona sempre per ultima, scusate per questo piccolo problema!
Article 736 directly prohibits marriage between adoptive parents and children, the children's spouses, or the children's descendants and their spouses. So it's not OK to marry dad, grandpa, father-in-law, etc., even if he's an adoptive father/grandfather/etc.
Article 734 allows marriage between an adopted child and their siblings ("collateral relatives by blood on the side of the adopted relatives"), which I think was the source of your confusion.
Che carino! *^* non vedo l'ora di leggere i prossimi capitoli!
well depends on the country some countries still ban relationships between adoptive parents and children though i think in general it is still incest it just depends if it's legal incest(wincest) or illegal incest
as for japan here are the legal things
it's k to do it with any of your cousins,4th degree and below, 1st 2nd 3rd who cares JUST DO IT.
as for adoptive parents and stuff like that I AM SO CONFUSED WITH THEIR LAW
in article 734 they say it's k but then in article 736 it's not k maybe it's mistranslated but i got the translation from yale university so i have no idea (not a law student)
Family law of japan article 734
Family law of japan article 736
maybe i should post this on usagi drop to rekindle the flames their
as for just having some fun with any of your relative i think they allow it by law still a social taboo ,debate still on going their or something, age of consent is still needed cause that will be illegal obviously.so you can make your 1st - 3rd degree kin your gf or bf just not your wife or husband(so what happened in oreimo is legal, based from the LN they never married or something, hahahahahahaha KURONEKO STILL BEST GRILL)
should i make a forum here ?
here is the sauce btw
