Consider it an isekai series, most isekai don't look for a way home, they just adapt to their current situation. Though I feel she is trying to learn/find out more about her surroundings and what could've happened but is easily distracted.
Xiao Shixiong or Shixiong Xiao can be tranlated as "brother" or "bro" who is in a guild, clan, brotherhood or job. It is normal in Sino-Sphere pronounce. Thus Xiao Shixiong Lin => bro Lin.
