Ok, so the author is treating the audience like idiots (the way of dealing with bubblegum is apparently super duper work that only someone with policing experience would come up with?), the protag is weak (in personality), and the girl is frankly an irrational nutcase.

 

The supervisor's reaction to the gum bit was really the last straw for me, but the girl's attitude is what's been bothering me the most. I really hate people who treat others like trash, and aside from that if I were this girl's superior I wouldn't want her working for me. Her pointlessly rude and hostile behavior towards her own squadmate gives me the strong impression that she's unstable. I would have serious doubts about putting her in a position of authority, given how she uses what authority she has to incessantly bully the juniormost member of their outfit.

The bubblegum...I actually forgot about that tactic, but I can't recall ever having gotten it stuck on anything or in my hair, etc., so not much personal use for it myself (I'm very careful w/ that sort of thing; always have been).

People praise the art, but personally, I'd much rather look at a neat black-on-white than this woozy color stuff.

 

About the contents though; it's been mentioned before, but Chuuta has the same fatal flaw as Tsuna in Reborn had: he is moved by the story, other characters, and coincidence. He doesn't do anything of his own volition, and that's what makes him such a boring protagonist. Sure, you could say he has lots of room for character development, but that's merely the logical conclusion of him starting as an incompetent floor mop. 

I completely disagree with that being a flaw. I personally like seeing that in characters from time to time, it gives good variety, and can make for interesting and unique characters.

I wish someone like HIbari would show up in this manga.

This got cancelled 2 volumes in so can't really expect too much of it

This isnt bad but it has no chance of being as good as Katekyo
It got into the action way too fast and therefore cant "Genre-Jump" like Katekyo
More series should be a slice of life comedy for a while before turning into a shounen battle like Katekyo and Negima

i heard this manga complete with one vol kinda sucks as the first ch is awesome

I'm surprised that you found a translator that's up to the task - there's shitload of text in this series ;

 

There's a few cleaning mistakes in chapter 1 (no idea where to download ch2), some stuff wasn't redrawn at all, and the typeset could be better, but all things considered, not a bad job.

I'm not sure what the problem with uploading or processing is, but my guess would be that the "ē" is somehow screwing it up xP This letter wasn't made to be compatible with links, etc.

Well yeah. We got to admit that we're a relatively small group, and probably were a bit lazy to clean some redraws. On chapter 2, though expect better editing!
