I REALLY hope that by the end of this arc Juugo punches someone, preferably his actor (soon to be ex-) friend and/or the mother-in-law (gender equality FTW).
And I hope it won't turn into those kind of arcs I hate where characters to pretty terrible sh!t to the mc and he just forgives them by the end, because there's no such thing as consequences...

Oh, just one last thing, I'm noticing a large amount of mother-in-law hate, some friend hate, but a distinct lack of wife hate, I mean, sure, she has no fault in what happened, but her character's been acting really badly in the last couple of chapters. Juugo will find out eventually what happened, better hear it from her first, but she's constantly putting it off because 'he's busy', just tell him it's important(which it is!), he's only in that bussiness for her, he'll fucking listen!!

Maybe its because I had let this sit a long while before I read the later chapters, but it seemed you guys were way too critical.

All your dislikes would be solved if everyone in the story knew that 'the MC was the MC'.  Everyone would apologise/tell the truth/ask for help if they knew he 'was the MC/the hero'.  

The only one I'd like to 'realise the MC is the MC' is the mother-in-law but without some kind of long-term antagonist you can't make a deep story.  

There shouldn't be any 'wife hate' as (unless I'm forgetting something) she knows she has 3 days until it goes public.  Because we know 'the MC is the MC of a drama story', we know the guaranteed drama (with little doubt he will stumble upon the photograph) but she has no reason to think that he will find out sooner than 3 days, so no reason to stop him and say 'its important!', not yet anyway.  

I guess he brought a gun for the shooting... You know.. to get into character..

While I agree wholeheartedly and reading too much hentai made me constantly fearful reading romance stories but no drama no readers, no readers no manga, no manga no job.

I disagree, a cute vanilla love story can perfectly stand on it's feet without unnecessary drama.
Although drama is fine, if it fits well(which in this case, it doesn't!), take for example Yandere Kanojo or Mikakunin de Shinkoukei.

Pretty sure the manga is based around him changing the industry one 'duction' at a time because he doesn't suck up to it.  The only person he is sucking up to is the Mother-in-law and that's because of old skool manliness; he wants her approval for the marriage.
