protip authors can write stories that don't rely on eternal deus ex machinas. I read shibatora, and this dude was my favorite character in shibatora. This is the same stale joke repeated over and over and over for eighty chapters with no growth from any characters, resulting in a stale and lifeless story.

I received a request for it about 2 months ago, and after googling some stuff, I found out that it was completely dropped by the latest scanlation group.
So after taking a break (don't know how long, depends on the mood), I'll start working on it as long as no other group picks it up before I start. The rate of the uploads will not be as fast (or consistent) as this one.
Dude, you gotta read Shibatora, it'll give you what you were looking for. No promises, but it's a lot closer to this ideal cause, well... it's not a joke manga like this one is.

Also an additional note, I really enjoyed this manga, definitely has a lot of reread value! Always managed to clear all the angst and make my day bright! Every chapter was so fuzzy and heartwarming! Every one was so nice and so friendly, ahhhhhhhhh it melts my heart....~~
I'm glad that Mitt-chan, who used to not give a shit about the students(see Kamiya's house visit) warming up to the students(actually wishing luck for Koyama's love life instead of being indifferent, went to the sea of trees in the chapter before the last chapter)

...That's...the entire premise...
You may have read the wrong manga then. Mit-chan never was a serious character. He is the joke character in EIJI and Shibatora. All of his accomplishment(?) in EIJI are all based on super luck.
potentially good series ruined by eternal deus ex machina, the main character never sees any growth because he never has to solve any problems. Its always the ghost taking over and fighting off ten men armed with guns, the mc never does anything throughout the entire story.
