Wow the art style is quite different in the anime. Didn't even recognise the MC at first.Didn't he only use one meteor strike in the manga? Does anyone know how many he used in the LN in the intro?

He used all three in the ln/manga cause it took so long to activate so he panicked. Something you could have easily looked up yourself since you had time to write a comment... right below the first chapter.

Dynasty-scans is one other altenrative reader site (Despite being a scanlator's website originally) that I use frequently. It's not exactly intended for yuri manga, but over the recent years it kind a has been. There's nothing really preventing scanlating groups from uploading non-yuri content though, and they have similar rules to Batoto (respects scanlator's conditions and DMCA) without ads and the no-NSFW content allowed restriction. Maybe non-yuri scanlaters might consider using the site.

We will not abandon Death March just because Batoto is shutting down, don't worry. We are still thinking on how to continue, but we have a few options lined up, so eventually you're going to see the chapter some way or another on your radar. Warning you guys upfront though, if the chapter is bigger, it might take a while longer to release, so don't panic ahead of time, okay?

We are still thinking on how to continue, but we have a few options lined up, so eventually you're going to see the chapter some way or another on your radar. You guys are overthinking, MC is shitty because there is nearly zero emotional response from him.

Simply compare him to gorgeousness of a gluttonous spider (girl) from certain other isekai manga. He is made of wood with concrete glazing, and even that minuscule emotional background from the original (web)novel was lost by artist here.

problems i see here.

-HYPER generic protagonist without any interesting or uncommon traints in terms of appearance or anything.

-He basically obtained everything there is to obtain in first chapter when he autolooted "late game" area size of a small municipality after lay wasting it with his little "early game booster"

-No real "need" to grow. He is standing alone in the peak of evolution so to speak and those titles he keep hoarding seem like passing notes which pop out when they are needed for convenience.

-No hardships or exciting ordeals he has to overcome.

-No rivals

-No grand Objective

I wont bother to complain over the harem part.. it just is there like in many others, nothing spectacular or especially memorable.. besides weird color coding for women with their hair.

 

Actually.. if author suddenly made Satou bored out of his mind and put him on a journey to "seek a way to kill time and find something interesting", it would give sort of a nucleus for this story to build around. Now its just random events one after another which last few chapters and thats it.

 

With this ive finally dropped last one of these "hyper convenience" stroll in a park isekai stories ive had in my list. Isekai is my favourite genre alas stories like this one pop out like mushrooms after a rain and they are poisonous for me.

if this follow the LN (slighty different from the WN) then you just impatient to read it... thats understandable because at few Arcs Death March is slow paced.... but all of his Interactions on every beings on this manga, it will create the impact on that world on the future, and if they put their Intermission on the manga, that would explain all of the Events around the world.

actually he would face many hardship, though in unique ways...
Grand Objective? he wants Adventures, while search a way to go back to Earth, and he's doing that now.

I think he's referring to okusan. Anyways i think he feels empty because he somehow lacks desire and ambition. The story is basically a slice of life manga about traveling and food that's set in another world. From time to time there are events but the MC's actions are purely reactionary. There's no goal to work towards that drives his being. No demon lord to kill and even though there's a small ounce of desire to search for a way to go back to his old world, it's drowned by the constant slice of life theme of the manga.

Seriously, manga feels even worse than novel in that aspect, a completely soulless activities report with some cute girls of all flavors sprinkled on top to attract audience. I dont mind cute girls part, tho.
