I think it is good. Doesn't suffer from the story jumps and frantic pacing of angel beats, this one keeps all of the humor but is rational in tempo.... (if not still a tad fast). It's hard to dislike for me because of jun maeda's writing.

Except for the part where last 2 episodes had enough story to fill one or two COURS, not episodes. It was incredibly, incredibly rushed, the pace was all over the place and characters that I thought would eventually get some development were just tossed to the side due to time constraints.

Angel Beats! too isn't a visual novel adaptation. In fact, the visual novel adapted the Anime

... angel beats! and this were original anime.

This is soo Angel Beats! mmm...

Click on MAEDA jun's name right besides the cover image on top, he is the one behind the group - Key, which produced many tears-jerking series including Angel Beats.

Uhhhhh...

Spoiler

Interesting. We find some info that hasn't revealed in the anime yet.

I'm getting mixed messages.

Where can I buy that photo?

I uploaded the final chapter of volume one (chp08),  just waiting for Batoto staff to approve it (takes a few hours).

This is the Amazon Kindle version I am scanlating. It only came out in Japan 3 days ago, so it's a good speed! (imo). The translation is 100% accurate, but I am aware some of the sentences could use a bit of tinkering to make it sound more natural. I'm Sorry! If you want to take me to task for it, you can do it here.

Other than that the pacing is a bit rushed compared to the anime but otherwise it seems fine.

Ep.9 that just came out explains this

Is the anime good though? I watched Angel Beats when it came out because people kept recommending it, but was an entirely different show by the end... and not for the better.

I really should start watching the anime.

Correct. Sadly, "like a ton of reinforced concrete" just doesn't have the ring of "like a ton of bricks". ;)

Suggesting possibly random solution: like a wrecking wall.

I mean, reinforced concrete is probably one of the most destroyed materials, as well as collateral murderer.

Heck I'm pretty sure it does a combo attack with Truck-san now and then (usually for people who don't deserve reincarnation)

Little Buster isn't as good as other Key's work (for me), I guess this one will be promising mmm...

Spoiler

You can kinda go back and use Edit to tag that spoiler now, y'know.

Based on the steel rods, I think that's reinforced concrete actually :v which means no bricks.

Yuu and Nao is the supreme OTP. they complete each other ;_;

that's exactly what's VawX said isn't it?

that

"Just like Angel Beats!, this Anime isn't based on visual novel"

Okay I admit it I must have misread it before or something. Didn't get much sleep yesterday

More like a ton of bricks.

... Sorry, couldn't help myself. XD

Created by Key, the one responsible for Angel Beats!, Clannad, etc mmm...
Just like Angel Beats!, this Anime isn't based on visual novel while other Key's Anime are based on visual novels by the same name mmm...

Shoujo!?

Yeah, that was weird.

AFAIK, this is published in Dengeki G's Comic, which would make it "Seinen".

That episode hit like a truck ;_;
