Honestly speaking, I think he's right though. Considering what America does on a daily basis to the Middle East and even several other groups, I could easily imagine something like this happening. The makers of it would only need to justify it with "they're criminals" even if they aren't, have some discretion who they take, and make it inaccessible for most common people and the vast majority would leave it alone. The fact that there's a possibility of Donald Trump becoming the American President shows how ugly humanity can be. I could definitely see something like this not being impossible.

I don't know if you understand but this is a breach of our basic human rights. If anybody can be nominated to be kidnapped and forced to play the game then the large majority will definitely stand against the games. I don't know how you came to the conclusion that no one would stop the games unless "they somehow got involved within it" but being under the constant fear of the possibility of being nominated will lead to the community banding against the supporting corporations and game.
