Bokura no Kiseki

Well BnK is famous for it's long and slow progress but I think that way the characters and plot is able to be portrayed in high detail. Not just the major but also minor characters, they felt much more alive and have their own stories and personalities.

I don't find many stories having that much attention to characters, but it is sure have its downslide which is the story became so dragged and tiring, but then again it's not like those chapters is fillers and have no connection to the plot like detective conan lol. Every chapters is BnK is connected to the plot and revealing the character traits one by one. 

It slow is sure, but I enjoy it and basically made me want for more, even though it's already 4 years since I read them. Thanks to Deus and Njmanga for their dedication in this manga

Man, I really like this manga, but the 'all setup and no payoff' thing is starting to get to me.

Hah!! It got to me 20+ chapters ago. Too fatiguing, so I just gave up. I come back today and skim the latest release, and it's still in foreplay mode. Sheesh!

Well. Time to reread the entire thing... It's been a year or two since I read the earlier chapters and I've forgotten half the characters now

I'm just 10 chaps through and this is already just as complicated as fucking Akame Ga Kill... the fact that everyone has the same hairstyle isn't helping either. I remember the time when I once thought the pink-haired sniper was Sheele.

Eh? What? Similar art with Monster Musume? But it's seinen and josei with stark difference artstyle...

Introducing new characters all the time? But new characters appear after like 40+ chapters... 

Shady subplot that didn't glue together with story? But all they're talking about is about war on the past... 

And fanservice in Bokura no kiseki? lol wat??

Yeah i just added that the art is overall good, nto that its similar, i also just said its cattering to the audience in its own way on both sides. That's just it.

There's been an update on Monster Musume today too, and this is somewhat good due to art (similar here) and the overall fanservice (cattered to different group but hey whatever, anything works for me) but its just as bad in plotwise sense. Might be that im just too old for most of the manga to actually make me to read them but they are becoming so stale, so uninteresting (for me). Sorry mate, just venting(i guess...).

To the newcomers, take a look, this manga is definetly worth it !(with all it cons and pros)

Sometime I feel like I am the only one cheering for Takao and glads that they have this gender swap princess and knight thing going on. (I know there are a lot of knights around minami but Takao is the one who stand in front of him most time) There was a lot of those moments earlier, now not much.

Also really glad that an author for once gives MC a steady relationship and focuses on the plot without doing the who will MC choose at the end thing. Or I hope Author-san is doing that.

Hmmm, yes, if I were seriously trying not to cry, I think I'd try running through my head things like the Joker saying

I like this manga but I give up on the murder mystery since the mangaka makes everything too vague and the flashbacks are all over the place meant to misguide us at times.
About the romance,

is there no hope for the hisoki (glen) /minami (veronica) ship? Idk why I'm not as drawn to takao/minami, I guess because they got together right at the beginning of the manga and I root for the unrequited love?
But I read somewhere that the mangaka's other stories romances are all tragic, so maybe everyone will end up alone in the end.
I like the ootamo/Veronica ship too but thats not gonna happen now.

Speak of the devil, I was just looking this manga up after not having read it for a couple of months, and there is suddenly a new release.
