Anime is postponed to 2019
Does anybody know if Hajime runs into any of his former classmates in the LN? Just curious.

Why do I feel like he just picked something incredibly useless up? Yue is his loli vampiress wife, he doesn't need a bouncy and idiotic rabbit wife.
Unlike one person, I really don't care for his former comrades. One betrayed him and, in spite of him probably bad mouthing him like no tomorrow and celebrating his death, the others have probably moved on and don't really care. Figured that airheaded priestess girl would care, but I don't care for her at all. She is like the others: forcing her will upon another without considering them. He never wanted her around him, she just chose to do so in spite of knowing it brought him hardships. Besides, they'd view him as a monster now and try to kill him with no hesitation in spite of his stats drastically outstripping theirs. The former students nothing more than worthless pawns to these childish gods. When he runs into them again, we'll probably see most of what has gone on with them.
I feel that Hajime's only way back would be to kill all the gods, take their powers for himself and rip reality itself asunder, probably destroying the world in the process. He will literally make every race his enemy and can only have allies in abnormalities like himself. In a sense, when he suffered that breakdown in the labyrinth, we witnessed the birth of a Demon Lord who will become a Demon God.
I was one of the people that complained about the artstyle but I was dumb and mistook the Vol1 LN cover for the artstyle without looking further down the page. I'm not so worried anymore. And White Fox is a great studio. I'm optimistic about the anime.
Wonder if we'll get a 12 or 24 ep series. If it's 12 eps we might get lucky to see the Reisen Labyrinth. If it's 24 I feel like they could do a lot with the show.
Either way I'll enjoy watching every anime community on the planet throw around the word "edgy" like it's going out of style when it airs.

They left so much out of the original dialogue that the argument between Hajime and the elders doesn't even make sense anymore in this chapter (17). It's like the author and artist just assumed you read the LN already.

They sure retconned that fast. The author must've decided that drawing them as originally depicted was too much of a hassle.

This manga has a different artist.
They probably chose LN art style because, in Japan, the LN is more known.
Also, I think that the LN was published before the Manga... would make more sense.
