Description: | Yuri, a modern day teenager who had just received her first kiss, is suddenly whisked away to ancient Anatolia where an evil queen wants her for a blood sacrifice. Luckily, the timely intervention of Prince Kail saves Yuri from the queen's grasp. For now. Kail promises to send Yuri back to her home, but the queen's persistent schemes to kill them both, plus their growing interest in each other, keep those plans delayed. Note: Contains a side story called Orontes Renka that is published in the final volume (28) of Anatolia Story, which is set in the same historic period. Orontes Renka: Many years after the end of Yuri's reign... the Hittite empire is about to become an Egyptian territory through marriage between the Hittite princess and the Egyptian king. A traveler from Egypt, Maripas, comes to the land of the Hittites at this time and gets robbed of all his belongings while playing good samaritan. He's then offered shelter by an unusually well-educated Hittite girl named Yuri. But this seemingly innocent meeting soon turns into a thrilling romantic adventure -- cases of mistaken identity and runaway royals are about to complicate international relations! (Datenshi Blue's vol 28 does not include Orontes Renka. Instead, it was released separately by ShoujoMagic.) In 2001 this series won the Shogakukan Manga Award for shōjo. |

Yes, but that's just here, I'm seeing it showing as a complete version on other sites.....dunno if they were fan scanlated, rips of official stuff, dunno.......but if you're interested in reading it in English, I'd suggest just going elsewhere. Here's at least one option...

Hi, sorry I know this is old, but volumes 4-12 seem to be only in spanish at the moment?
It's not there.
They were "Hidden in another language" just click view all and you should see them
Where are volumes 4-12?
THIS.WAS.AMAZING. Could not stop reading (went to bed at an unbelievable hour), but boy was it worth it. I loved the historical context. The characters are sweet and lovable. And, there is proper character development: Yuri evolves from scared teenager to fierce queen, and you gotte love a fierce queen who can fight and stand up for herself. All of it combined with a beautiful love story and some smut, and voià! A delicious read :3.
In Ouke no Monshou, the girl is just become an object to get from all over country cause her knowledge of future.
It's definitely different with this one. This manga's is much organized and have a well story plot.
I think this manga is realistic enough with those story plot of gaining the peace.
The plot maybe repetitive, but every plot is connected to each other into the climax, and we could see Yuri's developing briliiantly from such a coward become a brave leader. Kail too definitely have a reason to be loved cause of his gentleness.
Well, to resume it, this manga is a very good one and worth read manga. Especially if you're someone who concerned about the future of a country and not only seek romance.
I think it's Ouke no Monshou, and it's not by Shinohara Chie, but Hosokawa Chieko.
Well, one of the longest shoujo I've ever seen....
That's a manga under the same author as this. Her name was Carol or something.
