I read this. I liked it enough to recommend. Here's a review:

In short: cute, though very drama-fueled. Drama involves pretty mature subjects, but the resolution are often absurdly naively simple due to the author's opinion that most awful people can be redeemed. The romance aspect is incredibly bad and nearly made me not recommend the series, but thankfully it's a very small piece of the manga on the whole.
This is a very good older manga, well worth looking for the actual chapters. Yuzuyu is one of the cutest things ever, rivaling the twins from Love So Life or the little kids from Gakuen Babysitters. So there's some diabetes danger there. And the plot is decent--there's a love subplot which is fairly nicely handled, and some family troubles with Yuzuyu and a couple other people as well. I'm not wild about the ending, but I ignore it; I have a feeling it was kind of "You have to do this, the social code requires it" so they tacked it on, or something. Overall though it's a very good story.
