What the shit. What the... What is... What?
My brain hurts... What the flying hell? This story feels so... So... Like it was torn completely from the author's hands and turned into a cluster f%$&. That being said i kinda want to see his other works...

Once again the cycle of "nobody stop to talk, attack first and never listen" continues - -
It's not that he needs a writer. First sezon proved he can write.
Problem lies in his idea how to do it so he needs someone who will tell him this is bulshit and if I understand correctly (he alredy has such people but don't listen) all these .5 chapters it's his artistic Idea how to do it. Im cool with it. He is an author and he should have freedom to do it how he wants.
But seriously this is overdoing it
This is the most needlessly incoherent comic I have ever read. Hardly any dialogue is completed, almost all characters talk in half sentences which is cool to create suspense but lame when used all the freaking time. The plot itself is totally pointless because I believe the artist completed what he originally had in mind with season 1(which was cool albeit predictable).
I return to this new chapter after months and realize that the terrible narration is still going ahead in full swing. No one knows what the fuck is going on. Including, I think, the artist. Be prepared for twenty more chapters of "But that is" "So the sword is" "But she was" "But you are" etc.
The artwork is super cool though. The artist should really think of pairing up with a writer.
ch. 17.5 Is he trolling us?
I read season 1 for this "traditional fantasy twist" and now I get Shounen. Don't care much for romance. Saw it as twisting romance tag.
So (wild quess ) Loki will become Odin and turn his girlfriend into a doll of salvation all what we need to do is to survive this throught shounen (sic!) to seson III.

Season 1 was much more thematic, stylistic, intriguing, and original.
However, the plot was fucking nonsensical. Therefore, I'm liking Season 2 more just for having a coherent story, even if it is more generic and throws all of Season 1 out the window.

So, the Artist/Author of this Manhua can draw guys, as seen on EGScans credit pages.
But he really needs to work on female bodies.

WELL, I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND IT.
I think I liked the first season more. It felt more like a deconstruction of fairytales and shonen fighting series, whereas this one feels like it's playing it straight (just with the hero arbitrarily labeled "demon king".)
Moral of vol 2 ch 15:
Don't piss off the demon lord by torturing his love interest.
Over 6 months later and we're still in the same basic story point of 'bad shit goes down, everyone is an asshole'. I guess I should've ended my previous statement with 'and it was all an excuse to have cool looking fight scenes.'
If Thor already got killed like that, The demon lord become another "Onepunch man", lolz.
