I have no idea what that sentence means, though I'm quite sure it's because that's really not true. Sounds like you're coming at the topic from a gendered bias.

Did you read the credit explanation pages? The scanlators clearly explain what OL means.
My response to the manga:
(1) What I find strange is the inconsistency between that and her age-it creates a strange picture but when I think about it, in her condition, she won't be great to work as an actual OL which would probably require a lot of touching (though most of us don't recognize it since it's a simple brush or bumping by other people)
(2) her "phobia" is quite questionable. Does she fear germs (hence clean freak) aka germaphobe/mysophobia or is it the fear of touch aka haphephobia. They seem to use it interchangeably in this translation. But both phobias should make a person more high maintenance hence a job at an ice cream shop wouldn't even suffice to sustain her high maintenance lifestyle and I doubt it's because Japan doesn't have as much wealth inequality as the US does.
Sorry...I'm kind of ruining it but I suppose it's because it's a "whatever" manga to me.
That was pretty cute. Josei smut is nice every so often.

Only males get to become Wizards in the first place, females don't even grow up completely without giving birth(i.e. they are only older girls xD) because of hormones that are only active during pregnancy.
Most fitting the image would be to become a "magical girl", though I bet there are way more "male virgins" out in the world over 25 than "real virgins".
Wait, how is she an OL if she works as a manager at a Ice Cream shop?

Feels a little more cute and light than a lot of the smut tagged things I have seen. Not terrible.
