Hm... I don't think the art in this is very shoujo-esque but in general I know what you mean. It's one of those things that doesn't translate into real life at all... sometimes you look at it and you're like, if one of my male friends did that face I would rofl XD
i looked thru the ch again and still cant figure out what the pouty lips are lol but im sure it definitely looks better than the horse face dudes i kno exactly what u mean ahaha
I honestly don't know what you mean. This manga is drawn in a very atypical shoujo style that I find a lot more compelling to be honest. It's the reason I picked this up when I normally avoid shoujo like the plague, at least the characters in this one are unique and not horse-faced like the majority of characters in a shoujo mangas.
What is it with those annoying pouty lips on male protagonists in shoujo? Is it some sort of requirement for shoujo publications?
I got so into this, that I forgot I was running out of pages to read. BAM! Shock! Noooo...
