If only there were more authors like Yagi-sensei! If even a quarter of the current ones had his ideals... I would probably be in heaven...

I was expecting something along this lines but still... way to simple of a final chapter. First 13 pages had so little drawning into them (all black blackground cuz' "mindtalkind" needs no scenary).

 A colored front page with a Cameltoe on in .-. yap, great way to start the final chapter of a year long series!.

 I would love to keep going on my grampa style rant but meh, no point for it.

 As for Claymore as a "pre-quel" for the main story, I've always loved Miria and so far it seems she may be used as a possbile main character should there be a continuation of this world. Can't be pissed about that

Look like Irene's ears is bigger again after many years.

Speaking of Irene, she regrown at least one arm ( the other side is hidden by her cloak ). She's an offensive type and was able to regrow her limb. I guess even offensive type can regrow limbs after 7 years. 

We were not aware of that probably because the organization probably discarded warriors who lost limbs by sending them to their deaths.

Edit : Ah nevermind, just re-read that part. Irene says it might take her a few months, but then what about the other arm? I guess she might be scared of releasing her Yoki in the "early" days for fear of getting caught. That, or she's like Galatea and didn't want to heal her wound.

Seriously, was this the typical "we're cancelling your manga, so come up with an ending" rush job (which doesn't excuse it, but at least explains it) or was it the ending the author intended from the start?

 

Because if it was the latter, he deserves a BOOT TO THE HEAD!

It was always going to end this way. The mainland thing was only to explain the provenance of Yomas and claymores really.

This island had no technology, so how did they create claymores? Also, it's such a small Island, there's no way these big predators would be a native of the place since, if left unchecked, they would of probably ate out the whole place in a matter of years.

Again, the Mainland lore was only to provide a back story on how these creatures came about, nothing more.

I also am not surprised that Irene spared by her hunter. Rafaela was contemplating dying with her awakened sister for a long time and was only a puppet of the organization to die with her sister, she really didn't care about Irene.

As for the two twins giving Miria threat/message... It didn't really matter, I'm sure the dragons are strong and numerous to wipe the floor with the claymores but they pose no threat. A few times the hat guy shown signs of concern for Claire and the others and so I think he let them live because he ultimately cared. I cringed a little because this is another instance in which Miria misjudge the situation, but in this instance it didn't matter.

This was the ending everyone could easily guess was going to happen for at least 30 chapters now.

The only thing that I wonder, I imagine these claymores can't have kids right? It would make sense that the organization would prefer to control their claymores by removing their uterus when they swapped the "organs" during the operation that leads to their transformation.
