And as hinted before, yeap Liu Qiu was acted reckless and rushed, if anything out of loyalty and servitude. And now this idiot feels like undermining all of Tornado's wishes 30 years later, what gives?

Seriously I wonder what his true motivations are, or does he intend to take over the organization as a way to DO something good for it? Who knows.

The Azure Sky Leaders seem to be the father AND uncle of none other than Thunder (the translator gave the clue, same with the author). If Tornado took down these assholes then it is no wonder Thunder wants revenge on the gang, not to mention his violent tendencies are more than explained. Liu Qiu really looks younger.

Now you bring an interesting point. If he was a mole, why he would fight Jin Fong? Unless it was all an act though it seems rather weird. Maybe there is something deeper about this betrayal.

That was unexpected. That betrayal was really not in my plans. Alas the backup plan was good too, basically Xin Yi's financial moves, made it so that they are still up and running. The preview is interesting, Chen Luo's father and Tornado. I always wondered about his father, and I kind of expected a relationship, now it is becoming clear.

And we will be digging in some past, and will learn of Thunder's motives too. I liked his reaction to the news it was priceless. I miss AV, hopefully he returns and stronger than ever to pulverize these cheating bastards.

I wish this series got as much love as Feng Shen Ji.  Is the interest in this series gone or what?

Oh yeah...I used to read this. Looks like City of Darkness hasn't had much love lately judging by the comment section....Don't worry City of Darkness, I'm here for you.  

Wow that background says a lot there. Really unfortunate how he was a victim of rich corruption and bullshit, while fictional it is quite sad that irl the good guys don't always get the best. He was given a chance in the darkness, and he accepted it for he found something to live for. No wonder he is so bound to Thunder like that.

Now that training for Chen Luo Jun is interesting. I can say from personal experience that doing that posture for an extended amount of time is VERY tiring, I did never think it could help with endurance by just doing it for a more prolongued session. Now I wonder what's with that secret that Boss told the others, I'm fairly intrigued.

Asthma? That seems kind of weak as a big weakness. I mean I had it pretty bad as a kid but it usually flared up in stressful situations rather than exercise....though I will admit when I did have an attack it was pretty damn bad. Still though I've grown out of it as an adult and haven't had an attack in years. Kinda surprising that they're presenting it as a crippling weakness for Jin Fong

Asthma varies a lot from person to person, and while some people grow out of it in childhood (You, Theodore Roosevelt, etc), many other cases of asthma aren't so simple. For some it isn't just serious chest pains and breathing issues occasionally when they're younger, and then minor ones when they're older. For some, asthma can be a near-constant pressure on the chest. Shortness of breath, all the time. Inability to even speak full sentences when the attack starts to come on. They lose focus and the ability to think clearly, their faces will pale and lips blue due to oxygen loss, and their shoulders will hunch or lock up.

It's bad. For a martial artist? It's crippling, damn near debilitating. Having a bad asthma attack in the middle of a match would almost guarantee your loss. The fact that he's as good as he is shows how remarkable Jin Fong is as a martial artist and a person.

Great chapter, loved the backstory. Always enjoy a noble and sentimental character.

Thanks for the chapter. They seem to be in a pretty bad situation (overall), I wonder how they will get out of it.

I thought busting down walls barehanded was supposed to be easy with their Ki-mastery? ..and what kind of triad doesn't have ties with the legal force?
