The oneshot was pretty good, but the series is just bland - a collection of things done better elsewhere.

Well, not exactly... I have a feeling she is either lying about being his wife, or was fooled into believing such by the "boss" or whoever. Either way, she deceived him at least to an extent. The answer he gave her in the face of that was actually quite kind.

the manga even motion about a 'king' that rules those time monster... plus the mom is back! probably with same condition as dad - turn younger by second.
