Well, different.  And the art is neat if you're into the style.  Most of them aren't as harsh as you'd think, although the last one was rough.

Sometimes the importance of style and appearance makes them oddly trivial, with lines reading like self-parody in places:  "I imitated her, I tanned my skin and dyed my hair.  But what I was left with was emptiness and dry, fragile hair."  Oh, the humanity!  Emptiness is one thing, but dry, fragile hair?!  Oh noes, say it ain't so!

But overall pretty good.  I liked the divorce one.

Pretty interesting bunch of stories. I found some better than others but I particularly liked the last one. I'm not sure I agree with you on the self-parody angle - for example, I felt like the line about dry, fragile hair was just a further metaphor for the current state of her existence.
