Nah, I've seen this trope before; they're gonna build it up to be this huge, traumatic event but in the end it's gonna turn out to be something silly and completely nonsensical.

well normally an amnesiac, sooner or later, will start to have an identity crisis. Not knowing people that say that they know you, being alienated from places that you suppose to know, etc and etc.

But in this case the MC is an abnormally easy-going and cheerful person that amnesia is use more like a gag or a punch line. The biggest conflict the MC faced is her insecurity to properly have sex, and a comedic love-hate relationship with her "past"-self. Which is surprisingly a refreshing take on amnesia.
